You have all seen ‘em. Well, at least if you’re on Pinterest like me then you have. These no bake energy bites seemed too good to be true, and then I made them and must say, I wasn’t disappointed. They are delicious, semi-healthy and perfect for road trips or an easy breakfast. They make an appearance in our kitchen at least twice a month. Big shout out to gimme some oven for sharing her secret!
Ingredients
Note: Matt and I are not a fan of the coconut flakes so I always leave that ingredient out.
Stir all ingredients together in a medium bowl until thoroughly mixed. Let chill in the refrigerator for half an hour. Once chilled, roll into balls of whatever size you would like. Store in an airtight container and keep refrigerated for up to 1 week.
Makes about 20-25 balls.

You may be thinking it’s too early to start thinking about baseball, but opening day is only a few months away! I was looking for tickets to take my family to a game when they come for the wedding and came across this:
The Chicago Cubs are pleased to once again offer our annual School Group Discount Program! Bring your students out to a game for as little as $2 or $5 per ticket depending on the game date that you select. We will have seats available to choose from in the Terrace Reserved and Upper Deck Reserved Seating areas.
I think it’s great to see this! It’s not always inexpensive to take a big family out to a baseball game and the Cubs are helping make it happen. Here’s to creating a lifetime of memories on the cheap! Let’s play ball!
You can find all the details and take advantage of these right here: http://mlb.mlb.com/chc/ticketing/groups.jsp?loc=discount_days
The city of Chicago is a gorgeous place to be during the holiday season - here are a few of my favorite activities to do in the city - best of all? Their free!
1. Zoo Lights

2. Christkindlmarket

3. Ice Skating at Millennium Park (bring your own skates for it to be free, or be prepared to wait for a while!)

These are just a few of my favorites - but there is always something going on in the city to check out over the holiday season - I love it!
