Day 3 Sonnet

Back in the day
When we was free to play
Be a kid
And not worry about anything

Back in the day
When we loved the sun
Hear the ice cream truck
Music playing
People grilling
And having fun

Back in the day
Oh what I miss
When we didn’t
Have to worry about
Trafficking and craziness

Can we get back at
What it used to be
Great times and
Not so much negatively

My sonnet today
Is to go back
In the day
Bring back reunions
Cookouts and have
Special days
