    30 Day Writing Challenge

    Day 28

    Q. A Trip you can’t forget

I would say a trip I can’t forget. Was when I went to Jamaica with my family. I have never been on a trip with family as an adult, only with friends. This was my first time in Jamaica. It was really beautiful. We stayed 7 days all inclusive adults no kids. It had over 7 spots to eat at the resort, the clubs, and the water was beautiful. Everyone had their own room. I met so many people at the resort. I am not a big drinker but those Bob Marleys, and pina coladas were so good. I love swimming.

We got together as a family but the majority of the time everyone did their own thing. We went to Margaritaville, It was also Sun fest, we saw Bennie Man, Common and his band and one of the band members played me a song. I also saw Jesse Royal, another Jamaican artist and his crew.

Sunfest is when they have a big concert at Bob Marley Park they stay up all night outside partying. I ended up getting a headache with the drinks and the horns and music. I had a great time. It was a really exciting time. A much needed trip and from then on I have been traveling every year.

Jamaica is beautiful. It has bad spots but everywhere you go have the good and bad. Just a beautiful trip I will not forget.

    Day 27

    Q. A Wedding

I can remember going to one of my boss weddings and my ex went with me. He got drunk OMG he was loud, spilled drink on the table, flirting with the bartender it was so embarrassing. We rode with my supervisor and her boyfriend. So, when we got back in the car my ex went to sleep and was snoring so loud I was so embarrassed. By the time we got to my car he had to throw up and everything.

When I went to work that morning, everyone was picking on me it was crazy it was fun jokes but that was an embarrassing moment I had at a wedding.

  • Suzie

    Suzie

My Name is Suzie. My bike is a 1996 Suzuki DR650 SE (Dual sport bike) and cost me £1500 (maybe around $2000usd). I bought the bike in the UK and then took it to South America for the journey of a lifetime. So far, I’ve been in South America for 16 months, and I have 10 months left to go. It’s a great choice as many of the great places to explore dirt roads and this bike just copes with it all so well, plus you can get tires and spare parts in many places. It’s been changed a little for example I have got wide foot pegs, a 26 liter acerbic fuel tank, an uprated stator and carb, an aftermarket rear shock, seat concepts seat etc.

  • An Exercise in Movement and Happiness

An Exercise in Movement and Happiness

List 5 songs that make you widly happy. Do not judge what the songs are, simply write them down. Set aside 10 min a week and dance to them. Don’t worry about who might watch you. Move your hips and smile.

Give it a try, and notice how it makes you feel. It’s very difficult to dance and be miserable at  the same time.

  • The Power of Self-Compassion

    The power of Self-Compassion

Having compassion starts and ends with having compassion for all those unwanted parts of ourselves, all those imperfections that we don’t even want to look at. Compassion isn’t some kind of self- improvement project or ideal that we’re trying to live up to.
