Hello, I am Erica, as a kid, I always thought motorcycles were so cool from the look of them to how they sounded. The louder the better! My childhood friend had a minibike, and I would always ride on the back, even though my parents told me not to, because it was dangerous but for me, it was like an adrenaline rush! I was the girl that was always hanging out with the boys.

At 23 I started dating a guy with a Harley, after riding on the back with him for a few years he said, you should get your own bike. I thought it would be cool to do, but thought it was a crazy idea. At the age of 27, I had a friend win a motorcycle safety course at our local Harley Davidson dealer. She said you should do it. I don’t have any interest, so I took the class. Figuring it would at least make me a better passenger. I was pretty intimidated my first day of class, being in a class with about 10 guys and 1 other girl. The first night of the class was book work, the part of any class I always struggled with. Before going to the range and getting on a motorcycle, A written test was required to be passed first, I thought great, I’ll never get my license because of the written test, well, I got my test back and I got a 100. I was amazed because I didn’t test well. After spending the entire first day on the range learning the friction zone. I was ready to get on that bike and have some fun. I suddenly wasn’t scared or intimidated. I said to myself these guys aren’t going to be able to keep up. After an amazing weekend taking the class, I passed my road test. Bought my 1st bike, a 2007 Honda shadow 600 VLX. I loved riding with my husband, but after a year my little Honda just couldn’t keep up with my husband and his Harley. Getting into the sport has brought me to some beautiful destinations and I have met some amazing people along the way.

  • The Treston Irby story “Hiatus” Life in the 90s R&B Group Hi-Five

Book: The Treston Irby story “HIATUS” Life in the 90s R&B Group Hi-Five

    Author: Treston Irby

    By: Cece Hymes

This book was about Treston Irby’s life. He talks about his life growing up and how he ends up being in the group Hi-Five. His life was a journey he had been through a lot of things growing up into an adult and artist. He talks about how the group broke up and the different stages he went through. The pain, the hustle and the grind.

Everyone has a testimony or story. His story is what celebrities and people in the entertainment world go through. I was glad he was real and told his truth on everything. Sometimes it’s good to get your story out. You may help others that get into the entertainment world.

I can’t wait to read part two of the book and see what’s next. Glad that he continues to still perform as Hi-Five. Also, prayers to the ones that ha” I can’t wait another minute” & “She’s playing hard to get” was some of my favorites.

The 90’s groups and music are classics now. I love R&B music and I hope they continue to make good music now that they’re older and still performing.

    Day 26

    Q. Something that happened in a hospital.

I had a miscarriage and had to go to the hospital so they can get everything out. They put me to sleep. When I woke up, I felt so cold and so hurt. I always say that was the little boy I always wanted. I was there by myself. I was alone and tired. After I was done, I just told them I was tired, and I stayed there for some hours just laying there. The worst feeling I ever had in the hospital.

  • Brooke

    Brooke

My name is Brooke and I have always had a passion for motorcycles and knew that someday I would have one. I got my wish in 2014 after leaving an unhealthy marriage. For the first time in my adult life, I was finding out who I was as an Individual. I responded to a craigslist Ad for this 1996 VLX600CD Deluxe and when I found out it was purple, I was sold. She has brought me so much more job that I thought possible and has helped me to regain some of my confidence back. Since I brought her I have added new cobra fatty shotgun pipes, windshield, all new electrical, ground effects lighting and a Bluetooth stereo system.

I am the founder of Chrome Angelz RC International. It is a ladies riding club. These pictures were taken during a cross country trip. My daughter, my nine-year-old grandson and myself started August 9th touching our toes in the Atlantic Ocean in Atlantic City New Jersey and then continued across the country to California where we touched our toes into the Pacific Ocean at glass. We have covered 25 states and many states and national parks, our coast to coast on Angelz Wingz event was a fundraiser for Gilda’s club. A center for support for cancer and alcove. A center for family grieving. I am a two-year cancer survivor, and my daughter Dominique and grandson Logan participated at alcove when I suddenly lost my husband and dad when Logan was only 4 yrs old. So, we are 3 generations riding cross country on two motorcycles. Logan takes turns between mine and his mom. This is also a breaking record of being the youngest to travel cross country on the back of a motorcycle. You can follow us on Facebook or YouTube coast to coast on Angelz Wingz

    Day 25

    Q. Winning?

What can I say about winning? Well one time I did win on a lottery ticket for $100 and I barely played the lottery. Also, I feel like I am winning when it comes to building my brand and networking. I am consistent with it. I like to think if I speak it and manifest it then it will happen. I am going to manifest and say I am a winner, winner, winner.
