It’s important to note that the Fernbank Museum and the Fernbank Science Center are two different places, each with its own unique offerings.

    At the Fernbank Science Center, I was captivated by the planetarium show—an absolute must-see! The immersive experience was both educational and mesmerizing. There is the Live Honey Bees—they freaked me out a bit! Despite that, learning about history and science was thoroughly enjoyable.

    If you haven’t checked out the Fernbank Science Center yet, add it to your list. It’s a fantastic spot for both kids and adults to explore and learn. The planetarium show alone makes the trip worthwhile!

  • Six Flags Over Georgia

    For the month of June, I’ll be highlighting exciting things to do in Atlanta, sharing my Atlanta bucket list experiences! Day 29 was an exhilarating trip to Six Flags Over Georgia. I’ve been a few times, and it’s always a blast. The family loves it, and there’s something for everyone.

    When I was younger, I was all about the roller coasters. Now that I’m a bit older, I prefer the water rides and indulging in some delicious funnel cakes. Six Flags is perfect for all ages, whether you’re a thrill-seeker or just looking to enjoy a fun day out.

    One tip: It can get really hot in the summer, so I recommend going in the spring or fall. Halloween time at Six Flags is especially fun with all the spooky decorations and events. If you haven’t been yet, put Six Flags Over Georgia on your must-visit list!

    Every visit to Atlantucky is a unique adventure, thanks to the diverse events they host. The atmosphere is always lively, and the members of Nappy Roots frequently interact with the crowd, adding a personal touch to the experience. I’m incredibly proud of what they’ve achieved here.

    On the twenty-first day, I had the profound experience of visiting Martin Luther King Jr. National Historical Park in Atlanta. This museum is a tribute to the life and legacy of one of history’s greatest leaders, and it was both educational and inspiring.

    The museum beautifully chronicles Martin Luther King Jr.’s life, his work, and his enduring impact on the world. Walking through the exhibits, I gained a deeper understanding of his journey and the monumental strides he made in the fight for civil rights.
