  • Interview with Christon “The Truth”

    Interview with Christon “The Truth”

    By: Where It Begins

    Q. Tell everyone who you are?

    A. My name is Christon The Truth Jones. I am an international certified Les Brown speaker, international Best-Selling Author, CEO of Return on Investment, and successful Investor. I show people how to invest and day trade in the stock market. I’ve been investing for 4yr and have spoken on 3 different continents before the age of twelve and was a 2018 youth Entrepreneur of year Nominee for Black Enterprise.

    Q. Who or What inspired you to be an international Speaker?

    A. What inspired me was when I first saw Les Brown at the age of 9 at a Let’s Get Motivated Seminar. He was the lost speaker on the stage that day, and the way he was able to excite the crowd and the way he told his story was magnificent in his mastery of manipulating the crowd’s emotions. He just inspired me to take action and become the best speaker I can.

    Q. What is one of your greatest accomplishments?

    A. I don’t have the greatest accomplishment because I can always become better. However, what do people consider my greatest accomplishments is probably my whole image or basically my mission that I’m currently on.

    Interview with Darius Marcell

    By: Where It Begins

    Q. Hello, tell everyone who Darius is?

    A. Who Am I? Well, my friends call me Diggy. I’d say I’m a fun-loving guy. I enjoy the ability to make people smile and laugh. I’m a little bit of a home body when not working or with my friends. I love my family and my z dogs.

    Q. Who is your role model?

    A. My biggest inspiration would have to be Tyler, The Creator. Our world lacks the ability to accept pure authenticity. He refuses to be anything but himself! I admire that and the businesses he’s created being unique. I also respect his bond to his family and friends.

    Q. Who is your favorite Actor/Actress?

    A. One of my favorite actors is Donald Glover, as well as being one of my biggest inspirations, like Tyler. Donald’s such a creative creature, there’s nothing he can’t do. When it comes to acting, it brings me so much joy to watch him perform. His death is outstanding, and he is ever evolving. I learn so much from him. That’s why he is one of my favorites.

    Q. Hello, thanks for letting us interview you, tell us who Keith is?

    A. I am Keith Pichardo, and I am a 17-year-old and was born in a small town called Muncie, Indiana. Currently I live in Chandler, Arizona with my 2 best friends, my brother and my parents. My Dad was born and raised in the Dominican Republic and met my mom in college, so I have lots of family from outside of the U.S. I love to play soccer; it has been a big part of my life. My friends and family are a huge influence in my life.

    Q. What is your favorite Movie or T.V. show?

    A. My favorite movies are brainless, funny movies such as Superbad, Scott Pilgrim vs the world, but I also like movies that challenge my thinking such as Interstellar. I also like any Keanu Reeves. Some TV shows I like are the office, sex education, and modern family.

    Q. If you could go anywhere in the world where would you go?

    A. If I can go anywhere in the world, I would have to say Europe in general. I was supposed to go to Italy and Spain for my senior spring break trip, but the Corona Virus began so it got cancelled. Soccer is a big sport in many European countries, and I have always wanted to go see a game.

  • Interview with Sarah Little

    Interview with Sarah Little

    By: Where It Begins

    Q. It’s an honor to interview you, tell everyone who Sarah is.

    A. Thank you! It’s an honor to be featured in your magazine. Currently, I’m a social media influencer. I have a pretty big following on TikTok (600K) and I also do Instagram and YouTube. I kind of got big from a fake fight that I did with one of my friends (which my mom was really mad about!). Then I went on TikTok and had a few viral videos with my friends Dennis and Tyshon, and now I have a bit of a following. I live in California, between two places. Most of the time I live on a ranch near Yosemite with a lot of animals. We have cats, dogs, horses and even llamas, and I take care of them while I’m home with my family.

    Q. What is your favorite movie or T.V. Show?

    A. My favorite TV show, By FAR, is Vampire Diaries. I don’t really watch movies, I only watch Vampire Diaries. I’ve seen all the episodes more than once.

    Q. How did you become doing Vlog?

    A. To be honest, I didn’t really know what was going on. I was best friends with a girl who did social media, and I was in her videos. I barely knew what a vlog was before that. I started to grow after that and then just wanted to keep up with the people that were following me already. But then I kept growing so I just started going with it and now I am where I am.

  • How to be Fine (What we learned from living by the rules of 50 Self-Help Books) by Jolentra Greenberg and Kristen Meinzer

Book: How To Be Fine (What we learned from living by the rules of 50 Self-Help Books)

Author: Jolenta Greenberg and Kristen Meinzer

    By: Cece Hymes

This book was about two ladies that share their thoughts on what they got out of the 50 self-help books that they read. I read a lot of books, and some are self-help books. I am going to take some time out to read some of these self-help books that they have listed. Everyone gets something different out of a book they have read.

I think self-help books help in different ways. It really makes you open your eyes and when I read these books, I feel more uplifting and positive. I enjoy reading self-help books. I like that these 2 ladies are honest about what they got out of the books and honest about what worked for them. They both have different opinions on the books they have read. That’s a good thing because everyone does not think a lot about what works for one person and does not work for the other. I also liked that they can be funny and seem like they have great conversations about these books.

We all need those kinds of friends we can enjoy and talk to. I love that they both love to read. I am a bookworm and love to read but my friends are not into books like I am, they more into T.V. and other things. I did read some of the 50 books they name but I look forward to reading more of them and sharing more thoughts.

Check out the book and let me know what you think. Also Join Cece Book Club on IG and Facebook.
