One day I was in the kitchen and I wanted some cinnamon rolls so bad. I put those in the oven and then a call came through. I got so distracted and forgot all about those cinnamon rolls. So, you know what happened next. Ughhhh it was burned up and I was so mad because I was craving for them.
Talking about this today. I am going to go in here and make my cinnamon rolls and enjoy lol. I will not burn them up today.

This Book was for small businesses. It shows you what you need to do to start a small business. It talks about business plans, LLC’s, marketing and more. It had different stories of how people started their business and succeeded in life.
This book had great tips for businesses. As I was reading, I took plenty of notes. Some things I already knew but refreshing my mind was what I needed. I love hearing people’s journeys and testimonies. It gives me the position to keep pushing and some things that stand out that I need to research that I have missed in starting my business.
If you are thinking of starting a business or just getting started this is the right book for you.

This traffic in Atlanta is horrible. It’s overpopulated and you will be in traffic for hours. One day I was leaving my friend’s house and on 285 a Truck had an accident and covered all the lanes. I literally had to sit in that traffic until 7 AM. It was horrible. I was thankful I had a full tank of gas. It was cold that night. I put my car in park and I dozed off and on. I had to call off work that day for not getting any sleep. Can you Imagine being stuck in traffic for over 5 hrs.? All I can say is Atlanta traffic is horrible.

I remember when I was maybe 8 or 9 years old, and we were in the mall in one of the stores. I saw some chocolate and I snuck it in my Jacket and ate it. My uncle asked me what I had and I was like nothing. Mannnnnn when they opened my jacket it was chocolate everywhere it had melted and smeared everywhere OMG lol. I got my butt torn up for stealing that chocolate but it was good lol.

I picked up this book because the words on it caught my attention. I did not know who she was, but my daughter did. It was a good read about her life and her journey. I loved that her mother supported her and pushed her in the right direction, always a good thing to have a great support system. If you do not know who Skai is, she is an actress and played on the show Bunk’d and Jessie. She created her own fashion line, and a lot of doors have opened for her.
Skai went through a lot especially being in the social media world. Just like everyone else you have your ups and downs in life. These days becoming a celebrity and dealing with social media is hard. She managed to clapback on some on social media but not in a bad way. Her story will encourage the youth to reach for the sky and follow their dreams.
I wanted my daughter to read the book because I was hoping it would inspire her in a way. It was good to read about her journey as a little girl and how she got to where she is today.

One year the guy that I was talking to at the time just messed up my whole day. This birthday I had this whole trip prepared. We were supposed to go to the beach and just have a good time. For some reason every time things did not go right with him, he would try to make me upset to be miserable with him. Let’s just say we did not go on the trip. We argued the whole day and I felt like it was the worst birthday. I did nothing, got nothing, and was angry the whole day.
With that being said I changed up and made sure that every birthday after that I would make sure to plan a trip and go no matter what, have a great time and celebrate. So far, it’s been working and I learned to never let anyone kill my vibe on my birthday and to celebrate being here another year.

Let me tell you about a neighbor I had. So, when I first moved into this home the neighbor introduced himself and told me that a person that lived here some years ago passed away outside cutting grass. Then said sometimes people say they would see the man cutting the grass. So basically, I was welcomed into the neighborhood like this. I don’t know why he would tell me that. So sometimes when I was in the house If I heard something I want that of the spirit or some would call it a ghost.
I became suspicious of the neighbor because he was the police in the neighborhood. When I say that I mean he watches everything and reports it. This neighbor took a picture of my car tag and ran it to see if I had anything on me. Now that’s crazy another person told me that’s what the neighbor told them but that’s not it. I had to just keep my distance and just mind my business. It’s crazy how people do things. That is my story about a neighbor. Make sure to pay attention to your surrounding people just not right these days.

Book: Make It Rain Author: Areva Martin with Donna Beech By: Cece Hymes
Just got finished reading the book “Make It Rain”. This book was about Media and branding. It teaches you how to pitch, network and brand yourself in the media. It was great tips in the book about interviews and getting into those doors. She mentioned a lot of people in the book that have a lot of followers and how they got to where they are on their social platforms. She also let you know not to count social media out. There are millions of people on social media that use the platform every day. Some of the tips that I really highlighted was: . Content Strategy .Monetizing .How your content looks on your social media .Pitching .Trending
Not in that order but some good tips on these topics. I love the name of the book “Make it Rain” because it’s talking business. It’s like promoting yourself and making that money. Even when I see that I think about making those connections, branding, and partnering with the right people. I definitely need to follow more people in my brand and get my social media together. This book is good for people wanting to do interviews, get interviews and get on the news. Check this book out and tell me about your thoughts on it. Have you ever just had that kiss that just makes you tingle all over? Well let me tell you. I am not big on kissing, but I do enjoy it with the right person. This one person when he kissed me, I felt it all through my body to my toes. I felt like I was on cloud 9 lol. It was gentle, sweet, and just right. Maybe it was the moment or the person, but the kiss had me feeling jittery. It was something special about that kiss that I know I will never forget.
