  • Lock Every Door (Book)

    Book: Lock Every Door

    Author: Riley Sager

    By: Cece Hymes

This was my 3rd book by this author. This book started off a little slow for me, but the middle and end were great and I did not expect how it ended. It was about a girl named Jules who lost her job, boyfriend, place and just seemed like nothing was going right for her. She gets a call to be an apartment sitter and make good money just babysitting the Bartholomew. She told her best friend who warned her not to go but it just sounded too good to be true.

She read stories and heard so many creepy stories about living at this place. As she moves into the apartment and meets other apartment sitters. She hears so many sounds and the place just seems to be creepy. The people don’t converse with others, and she finds different things in the house that seem strange.

Jules gets to be friends with one of the other apartment sitters and then she goes missing. She tries to research to see what really happened to the other apartment sitter. I can’t tell much more of the book.

It is a twist to it, and it is a page turner. If you have checked out the book let me know what you thought of the book.

  • Place: Zoo

    Where: Atlanta Ga

    By: Cece Hymes

Since I have been living in Atlanta, I have been going to the zoo every year. If you don’t know, let me share this secret with you. You can get free tickets to the zoo once a year at the library. Don’t say I never hooked you up lol.

So, me and the family went to the zoo. It was hot out there this year. The animals were just laying around because of the heat. I am thankful that the zoo has those fans and it’s a lot of trees that give a lot of shade. They had the part where you walk around like the aquarium part of it closed and the petting zoo closed. So, we missed out on those two parts of the zoo.

Every year I go I try to bring someone who has never been or hasn’t been since they were young. My aunt went with me this time and she enjoyed it. She Has a disability, but they did have the electric wheelchairs you could rent so she enjoyed that.

The zoo did have some new animals I didn’t see last time I went. I really enjoy going to the zoo in Atlanta so if you haven’t been make sure to check it out.

My Daughter and I had a chance to try out Crumbl Cookie. We been seeing so much hype about Crumbl cookie on IG and TikTok, so we wanted to see what the hype was all about. My daughter got the Classic Pink Sugar, and I got the Wedding cookie.

The cookies were okay to me, they were very sweet and big. I think I may have got the wrong flavor because I couldn’t even finish it because it was so sweet. We always want to try new things around the Atlanta area. The cookies were big and in a nice box and the Customer Service was great. You kind of go in there and pick what you want.

I can now knock this off my list of things I want to try.  Let me know if you have tried Crumble cookies and what your favorite flavor cookie was. Make sure to follow me at @cece.atl @Cece.atlbucketlist.

Introduction: Albert Einstein, a name synonymous with genius, revolutionized the world of physics and left an indelible mark on human history. His profound insights, groundbreaking theories, and relentless pursuit of knowledge continue to shape our understanding of the universe. In this blog, we will delve into the life, accomplishments, and enduring legacy of one of the greatest scientific minds of all time—Albert Einstein.

    1. Early Life and Education: Albert Einstein was born on March 14, 1879, in Ulm, Germany. As a child, he exhibited an insatiable curiosity and a deep fascination with the mysteries of nature. Einstein’s unconventional thinking and rebellious nature often clashed with the rigid educational system of his time. However, his love for mathematics and physics propelled him forward, leading him to enroll in the Swiss Federal Polytechnic in Zurich.
    2. The Miracle Year: In 1905, known as Einstein’s “Annus Mirabilis” or Miracle Year, he published four groundbreaking papers that would revolutionize physics. These papers introduced the special theory of relativity, which transformed our understanding of time, space, and the relationship between energy and mass (E=mc²). Einstein’s work laid the foundation for modern physics and challenged Newtonian mechanics.
    3. The General Theory of Relativity: Einstein’s pursuit of a more comprehensive theory led him to develop the general theory of relativity. Published in 1915, this theory proposed that gravity is not a force but rather a curvature in the fabric of space and time caused by massive objects. The general theory of relativity predicted phenomena such as gravitational waves and the bending of starlight around massive objects, which were later confirmed by experiments.
    4. Quantum Theory and the Einstein-Bohr Debate: While Einstein’s contributions to the field of physics were immense, he remained skeptical of certain aspects of quantum theory. He engaged in spirited debates with leading physicists of his time, most notably Niels Bohr.
