A. I am on the Internet for marketing and branding. I do post a lot. I don’t care if I get no likes or even 100 likes I share. Someone is watching and I know that my post on the internet touches some people. My goal is to inspire and encourage others. That’s me and the internet.
Q. What made you pursue a career in the music industry?
A. Funny enough, music wasn’t even a thought to me. I wanted to play football which was my love until an injury prevented me from playing anymore. I then turned to music to express my feelings and cope with the loss of football. I realized that I could do so much more with music than I could with football.
Q. What makes you a Triple Threat?
A. Triple threat started from when I played football, and it was because I was on the field the entire time playing offense, defense, and specialty. One day my coach said, “What up Triple Threat”. I really liked the sound of the name meaning someone who never leaves the field.
Q. What advice or insight would you give to artists that are coming up and trying to get started in the entertainment industry?
A. One of the biggest things to me is branding. You need to understand that when you become an artist that you are now a brand. You should be the artist 100% of the time. Promote yourself as much as possible through social media such as YouTube and Instagram and perform as much as possible at as many places as possible. Numbers are the key and promoters focus on your numbers as far as how many people you can draw in.
Q. Are you doing anything for the community right now?
A. I’m partnered up with the American Foundation Suicide Prevention because there is an epidemic of suicides in the youth as well as the adults. Sadly, Arizona is #1 in suicide rates.
A. YBLimited Mobile Services (Why-Be-Limited) was formed in 2013 with simply 1 bag of makeup and 1 camera. In the beginning, we were just known as YBLimited. Since then, we have evolved into an all-inclusive, mobile one-stop- shop for beauty and fashion, making us the first and only all inclusive Mobile Glam Squad in the country.
Q. Where do you see yourself in five years?
A. I will retire as a makeup artist and remain focused solely on running YBLimited. I’ll be doing a few T.V. productions highlighting my team. I’ll complete my autobiography and work on my philanthropic efforts.
Q. Do you do things for the community?
A. I most definitely do things for the community. That’s my favorite part of being in the position I’m in. I get to help people feel better about themselves using my gifts and the gifts of my team. I am currently an advisor for a non-profit organization called Our Children’s Story. They help families caring for loved ones with special needs receive the services they need to make their lives more comfortable.
I would say I fear to get breast cancer. So, years ago I started getting mammograms because they found a lump in my breast. It came out to be a cyst which I had got the bio, and everything done to have it resolved but it came back. So, they have it where I must go twice instead of once like everyone else. I always fear that it will become more than it is. So, I pray about it and just hope that it will be good.
So ladies make sure you get your mammograms and keep up with that.

I enjoyed this book. It was about a lady named Izzy who worked for this company doing publishing. They were trying to get this book done on a Beau Towers, they had a deal and they sent emails all the time to him, but he never responded. Izzy lived in New York and the company ended up going to L.A. for a work conference. Izzy said that she would go to Mr. Beau’s house to check on what was going on.
Izzy ends up staying in L.A. to convince and help Beau to do the book. It first started out as them not getting along with them being friends. They pushed each other in the making of them being friends and sharing things with each other. They helped each other get out of fearing things in life that needed to be done. They pushed each other by talking and communicating.
They fell in love but they both were patient; I think it was great timing in each other’s life. I hope that it will be part 2 of this book. I would love to see how their journey goes. I enjoyed the characters.
I like to read romance stories and how people find their mate. Izzy pushed Beau and it helped her with her own insecurities. She was really encouraging and came out of her shell. Glad that she was there to help Beau. I can’t imagine someone going in depressed mode and shutting the world out of his life for a whole year. Glad she was bringing life back into him.

The last text I sent out was me sharing that I met my goal on Good Reads. I am a bookworm. I love reading and this year’s goal was for me to read 50 books this year. It is only August and I have met my goal already. I can only Imagine what it will be at the end of the year. None of these books are audio books that I listen to. I have read all these books. This has been a passion for me for years.

I love reading people’s life stories on how they got to where they are today. The struggles, the experiences, and the journey. It motivates me that I can do anything I put my mind to. This Book was about Lenny Kravitz’s life. Starting from a child to a musician.
I knew who Lenny Kravitz was, but I did not know much about who he was. Everyone has a story to tell. This book tells how he was raised in a mixed family and how he never gave up. He went through a lot with his family and growing up. He never let his dream and passion go. He went through times where he slept in his car, on floors and more. He had a good support system also and that’s always a good thing. When you have people pushing and believing in your work. This comes from “We Got to Let Love Rule”.
Love is gentle as a rose
And love can conquer any war
It’s time to take a stand
Brothers and Sisters join hands
We got to let love rule
Love transcends all space and time
And love can make a little child smile
Can’t you see this won’t go wrong
But we got to be strong
We can’t do it alone
We got to let love rule

I would say the weirdest part is that they don’t act like family. We don’t speak to each other like that, hang out, and it is more like we are friends than family. The friends seem more like family than friends. I just don’t understand it. Back in the days we had reunions, times where we all got together to play cards, family trips and things like that. Now it’s like we do all that with our friends.
I would say that’s the weirdest thing about my family to me. We only reach out if we have questions or favors. Which it should be to tell secrets or to chat and things. You tell a secret to our family, and everyone will know. Nothing is kept just between the 2 of us.
