    Day 18: Atlanta Braves Stadium

    On the eighteenth day, I had the thrilling experience of attending my very first baseball game at the Atlanta Braves Stadium. It was an incredible night filled with excitement, and I’m so glad to have crossed this off my bucket list.

    The atmosphere was electric, especially when the Braves hit home runs and the crowd erupted in cheers. And let’s not forget the spectacular fireworks display that lit up the sky—an unforgettable highlight! Our seats were fantastic, offering a great view of all the action on the field.

    If you haven’t been to a Braves game yet, I highly recommend it. The energy, the camaraderie, and the pure joy of watching America’s favorite pastime live are truly something special. Don’t miss out on this quintessential Atlanta experience!

    Miguel Cabrera nicknamed Miggy is a professional baseball first baseman and designated hitter for the Detroit Tigers of Major League Baseball. He has been a two-time American League Most Valuable Player award winner, a four-time Al-batting champion and a 12-time MLB All-Star.

    Cabrera is very talented. He is a great player and inspired a lot of athletes in the world. Check out some of his baseball cards. Cabrera won the ESPY award and many more. Miguel Cabrera confirmed that he plans to retire following the season but still wants to help young players.

    Pete Rose SR also known by his nickname “Charlie Hustle” is a former professional baseball player and manager.  Pete was a switch hitter and is the all-time MLB leader in hits.

    Pete Rose won three World Series, three batting titles, one MVP award, and more. He definitely was a great sports icon. Pete Rose was banned after he allegedly gambled on games while playing & managing the Cincinnati Reds.

    Deion Sanders Sr is a football coach and former football player. We all call Deion Primetime and coach Prime. When he played NFL he played for Atlanta Falcons, San Francisco 49ers, Dallas Cowboys, Washington Redskins and Baltimore Ravens.

    Deion Sanders was also a baseball outfielder for nine seasons in Major League Baseball with the New York Yankees, Atlanta Braves, Cincinnati Reds, and San Francisco Giants. He is a jack of all trades.

    Deion Sanders has inspired so many athletes and people all over the world. I remember when I was in middle school I would get all the pairs of Deion Sanders shoes. I loved those shoes. Deion Sanders has won plenty of awards and also has baseball cards.

    I love that he is coaching and still doing what he loves to do. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame and the College Football Hall of Fame.     Ozzie Smith is a former professional baseball player, nicknamed “The Wizard of Oz”, Ozzie played shortstop for the San Diego Padres and St. Louis Cardinals in Major League Baseball, winning the National League Gold Glove Award. He was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in his first year. He was also elected to the St. Louis Cardinals Hall of Fame in the inaugural class.

    Ozzie Smith had a mean flip in baseball, he wasn’t called “The Wizard” for nothing. He inspired so many people all over the world. He had 13 Gold Glove awards. He is definitely a sports icon. Check out some of his baseball cards and some of his talent on YouTube. You would be amazed by his backflips and how good of a player he was.

    Jackie Robinson was a professional baseball player who became the first African American to play in Major League Baseball in  the modern age. He is definitely a sports icon. Jackie Robinson was inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame.

    Jackie Robinson won the inaugural Rookie of the Year award and many more. He will always be known for his uniform number 42 across all major league teams. Did you know that MLB has a tradition called “Jackie Robinson Day”?

    Robinson has served in the military. Some of his most notable accomplishments include:

    ·         The first athlete at UCLA to win varsity letters in four sports

    ·         MLB Rookie of the year

    ·         Six-time MLB All Star

    ·         World series Champion 1955

    ·         MLB Hall of Fame

    Jackie Robinson has inspired a lot of people all over the world. Nike honored his legacy with a Nike Dunk Low. A brand-new Air force 1 low with 42 on it. They have a film on Jackie Robinson if you haven’t watched it, yet it is a must see. Check it out and tell me what you think about it.
