Riding a motorcycle was always the “one of those days” thing I’d say I would do. Then a man who was like my brother lost his battle to cancer. I brought his motorcycle from the estate and l have been in love ever since.
Glenna Turner – She’s a 2018 street glide love her!! Her name is beauty queen and she is my first brand new bike. I brought her when she had 7 miles on it and now she has a little over 2 thousand. I live in a small town in Kentucky and love to ride the country roads.
Hello, I am Erica, as a kid, I always thought motorcycles were so cool from the look of them to how they sounded. The louder the better! My childhood friend had a minibike, and I would always ride on the back, even though my parents told me not to, because it was dangerous but for me, it was like an adrenaline rush! I was the girl that was always hanging out with the boys.
At 23 I started dating a guy with a Harley, after riding on the back with him for a few years he said, you should get your own bike. I thought it would be cool to do, but thought it was a crazy idea. At the age of 27, I had a friend win a motorcycle safety course at our local Harley Davidson dealer. She said you should do it. I don’t have any interest, so I took the class. Figuring it would at least make me a better passenger. I was pretty intimidated my first day of class, being in a class with about 10 guys and 1 other girl. The first night of the class was book work, the part of any class I always struggled with. Before going to the range and getting on a motorcycle, A written test was required to be passed first, I thought great, I’ll never get my license because of the written test, well, I got my test back and I got a 100. I was amazed because I didn’t test well. After spending the entire first day on the range learning the friction zone. I was ready to get on that bike and have some fun. I suddenly wasn’t scared or intimidated. I said to myself these guys aren’t going to be able to keep up. After an amazing weekend taking the class, I passed my road test. Bought my 1st bike, a 2007 Honda shadow 600 VLX. I loved riding with my husband, but after a year my little Honda just couldn’t keep up with my husband and his Harley. Getting into the sport has brought me to some beautiful destinations and I have met some amazing people along the way.
My beautiful 2006 CVO Screaming Eagle Fat boy. The color of my beauty is Autumn Haze. This is my first ever bike and I just fell in love with it when I saw it for sale at Fox River Harley Davidson
