    Michael Jordan

    By: Cece Hymes

Michael Jordan is a businessman and a former basketball player. He is one of the greatest players as people call him the goat. He has inspired so many people all over the world. He has accomplished a lot in his career.

Michael Jordan was a 5x MVP in his career. Did you know he became a NASCAR team co-owner? MJ has made millions off his shoes and from partners such as Nike, Hanes and Gatorade. Jordan owns the Charlotte Hornets and he will show up to some games to support.

I got to give him his roses today for being MVP and inspired the world with his talent. So many players have looked up to him for support and watched all his moves to be the best that you can be.

I can go on about MJ but here is a couple of quotes by him:

“Limits, Like fears, are often just an illusion”

“I can accept failure, everyone fails at something, but I can’t accept not trying”

“Talent wins games, but teamwork and intelligence win Championships”

    February Challenge

    Day 2

    Q. What are your top 5 core values?

    A. I would say Honesty, Respect, Integrity, Confidence and Balance. I need all these and more. Just to name a few.

    Q. Would you date someone who has different beliefs and/or religion from you?

    A. I would say it depends on the person and religion. Some people can talk about their faith and see the different points of life. Others can take it disrespectfully and it can cause a lot of issues in a relationship. It’s good to know ahead of time and to talk about these things before getting in a relationship.

  • Milk & Honey

    Restaurant: Milk & Honey

    Where: Snellville GA

    By: Cece Hymes

Got a chance to try out this restaurant. They opened one up out here in Snellville and it was pretty good, the food was great. Milk & Honey brings you that southern feel. They bring out great dishes like their Award-Winning Shrimp and Grits.  I am a brunch eater, so I had some french toast, scrambled eggs and cheese and bacon. It was delicious. I always wanted to know why they call it Milk & Honey. The next time I visit I will have to ask.

They serve a little of everything. Chicken, waffles, crabcakes and more. They have a couple of places around the Atlanta area. Make sure to check them out.  I got to try the Shrimp and Grits next. If you have been to Milk & Honey, what was your favorite dish? How was the experience?

We had great customer service and I would recommend anyone to try it out.  Atlanta always has some of the greatest food places.

Kobe Bryant, also known as the “Black Mamba, was a professional basketball player for the Los Angeles Lakers of the NBA. Kobe played for the Lakers his entire career, winning five NBA championships and being named finals MVP in two of them. Kobe is and will always be a basketball legend. He was the ultimate girl dad.

Kobe won a lot of Awards being an MVP in basketball. He had a foundation and did a lot for the youth. He wrote poetry and he also wrote a book. Did you know that Kobe is the only player to have two jersey numbers retired by an NBA Franchise?

It’s been 3 years since Kobe and his daughter Gianna gained their wings. It was very sad. He inspired so many people all around the world. It was a tragic accident and we definitely want to keep our prayers up for his family.  Here are some of my favorite quotes of Kobe:

    ·         “Dedication makes dreams come true”

    ·         “Once you know what failure feels like, determination chases success”

    ·         “The most important thing is you must put everybody on notice that you’re here and you are real”

    ·         “No matter how difficult the challenge is, always stay positive and believe in yourself

If you are ever in California, there is a bronze statue of Kobe and daughter Gianna. Make sure to check it out if you get a chance. Kobe left a big impact on the world. He was the goat in basketball and glad we have so many memories to remember him by.
