This is the month of love and we definitely got to give our roses to Donnie & Pamela Simpson. They have been together 47 years or more. That is a long time, but they still seem very happy. Donnie Simpson always talks about his wife on the radio and in interviews. I like that he includes her in everything.
I had a chance to interview him and have him on the Cover of one of my Magazines. That was a happy moment for me because I am from D.C. I read on one of Donnie post on IG where he stated on their anniversary:
“Today is a very special day in my life. It was 50 years ago today that I asked Pam to “Go with me.” I didn’t know where we were going and I’m not sure we’re there yet, but I do know that I’ve loved the journey”
I love to see relationships that’s been together for a long time. This day and time don’t last long. Couple Goals for real. Every relationship has its ups and downs, but they managed for 5 decades. I always say that your soulmate is your best friend. I know being in the music industry can be hard but this couple made it work and for that I want to give them their roses.
This is the month of love and we definitely got to give our roses to Alicia Keys & Swizz Beatz. They have been together for 10 plus years. They met when they were teenagers in New York City. I love this couple and the way they look at each other with smiles. I read Alicia Keys’ book and I love the woman that she became. Swizz is laid back and you can see how they both have matured and grown together as one of my favorite couples.
I saw in an interview or video that they barely argue. They talk to each other and that’s what couples need, that great communication. They inspire a lot of couples, and I love that they are each other’s number 1 fan. They support each other and they also step out of the box and try new things. You always see them being open-minded to what each other wants to try.
I love the song Blended families and how they blended their families together to be happy. I hope they continue to be blessed and share many more years. Keep inspiring the world with great music and showing love.
I love to see couples that are still making it. I love “LOVE”. What is something you would love to share about this couple? Also follow me @Cece.Atl.
