  • Knocking Another One Off My Cece Atlanta Bucket List: College Football Hall of Fame

St. Patrick’s Day in Atlanta called for something special, so what better way to celebrate than by knocking another adventure off my Cece Atlanta Bucket List? I had the chance to visit the College Football Hall of Fame, and of course, I had to show up in my green—not just for the holiday, but because it also happens to be my favorite color!

Even though I’m more of an NFL girl, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to dive into the rich history of college football. From legendary players to iconic moments, the Hall of Fame is packed with interactive exhibits and memorabilia that bring the sport to life. One of my favorite moments? Seeing Deion Sanders on the Hall of Fame wall! Knowing how much of an impact he made in college before dominating the NFL made the experience even more exciting.

What makes this place even cooler is the interactive experience. They use AI to create custom football-themed photos, making you feel like a real college football star. It’s a fun and unique way to capture memories from the visit!

I had an amazing time exploring, learning, and celebrating St. Paddy’s Day in the best way possible—by experiencing a little bit of football history in my favorite city. If you’re ever in Atlanta, I highly recommend stopping by the College Football Hall of Fame. Whether you’re a die-hard college football fan or just love the game in general, it’s a great place to check out!

  • Discovering the Golden Apple Buffet in Snellville

I recently had the chance to check out a new spot in Snellville called The Golden Apple Buffet, and let me tell you, it was an experience! It’s been a while since I’ve indulged in an all-you-can-eat buffet, so I was excited to dive in. Although I missed the lunch buffet, the dinner spread did not disappoint. They had an impressive variety—sushi, crab, seafood, pizza, and so much more.

The interior was surprisingly upscale and inviting, making it the perfect setting to treat the kids before they headed back to school after Christmas break. We decided to make it a mini food adventure and tried a little bit of everything. For the first time ever, the kids ventured into the world of sushi and even sampled squid and octopus! Now, while those weren’t exactly their favorites (their expressions said it all!), I was proud of them for being open to trying something new.

If you’re in the area and looking for a place to enjoy a wide variety of food in a cozy, family-friendly atmosphere, I highly recommend stopping by The Golden Apple Buffet. Who knows—you might just discover your new favorite dish!

  • Breast Cancer Awareness is coming!

This month, I want to take a moment to reflect on and share some of the impactful work I’ve been involved in within the community. One cause that holds a special place in my heart is breast cancer awareness. Every year, as October approaches, I make it a priority to contribute in any way I can to this important cause.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month is not just a time to wear pink; it’s a time to stand in solidarity with those who are fighting, to remember those we’ve lost, and to support ongoing research and care. For the past several years, I’ve made it a tradition to purchase items specifically for this cause and donate them to a local breast care facility. The act of giving, no matter how small, is my way of contributing to the support system that so many people depend on during their battle with this disease.

In addition to donating items, I’ve also volunteered at breast cancer walks, which have been some of the most uplifting and inspiring events I’ve ever participated in. The sense of community at these walks is palpable—hundreds of people coming together, all with the same goal of raising awareness and funds to fight breast cancer. There’s a shared strength and resilience in these gatherings, and it’s an honor to walk alongside survivors, fighters, and supporters.

This year, as we move into October, I’m once again gearing up to give back. I plan to help out at local events, make donations, and do whatever I can to support those affected by breast cancer. It’s more than just a yearly commitment; it’s a personal mission to make a difference, no matter how big or small.

Looking ahead, I hope to continue finding new ways to contribute, whether it’s through increased donations, more volunteer hours, or even organizing my own awareness events. Breast cancer has touched the lives of so many, and it’s crucial that we all do our part to support the ongoing fight. As October unfolds, I’m eager to see the positive impact we can make together as a community, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this important cause.

Let’s make this Breast Cancer Awareness Month one to remember by standing together, supporting one another, and continuing to spread awareness in every way we can. Whether you’re participating in a walk, making a donation, or simply wearing pink, every effort counts. Here’s to making a difference—one step, one donation, one act of kindness at a time.

I had the chance to meet 2 Chainz right here in Atlanta during a back-to-school giveaway event he was having and I was doing media coverage for his event. I came to support, and it was clear how much he cares about the community. Beyond his music, he’s always giving back—he donates to homeless veterans through his clothing line and has opened several restaurants in Atlanta.

Fun fact: my cousin went to college with him at Alabama State and always speaks highly of him. Plus, his podcast with his son is absolutely adorable! Today, I want to give 2 Chainz his flowers and tell him to keep up the great work. You inspire so many people, including me. Thanks for all you do!
