  • Midweek Moments: Cece in the City

Happy Wednesday, everyone! Hope your week is going great so far 😊

The temperatures dropped again—but hey, it is winter, so bundle up and stay cozy. A little fun history note: tomorrow, January 15, is National Hat Day! 🎩 Hats have been around for centuries—once worn to show social status, protect from the elements, or even represent professions. So tomorrow, rock your favorite hat and make it a vibe.

🎬 Cece On The Scenes – Watch of the Week
I watched People We Meet on Vacation and loved it! Definitely a 4 out of 5 for me. It was one of those feel-good, reflective stories that stays with you. I just grabbed the book too, so stay tuned—my full book review is coming soon!

    🍔 Weekly Adventures
This week’s adventures were a vibe! I hit up The Vortex with one of my besties—OMG, such a different spot with the skull décor and edgy atmosphere. The food was good, the customer service was on point, and they’re definitely known for their burgers. If you haven’t been, add it to your list.

🦕 We also went to Fernbank Museum—I’ve been many times (especially since I used to work there), but it was my bestie’s first visit, so we had to go. We checked out the IMAX film Wild Rescue, which focused on saving animals. It was sad and beautiful at the same time—very powerful. I’ll definitely be sending them a thank-you note for the amazing work they do to protect wildlife. If you haven’t been in a while, go check it out.

As always, stay tuned to Cece in the City—more adventures, reads, and vibes coming your way. ✨🏙️

  • Shake Shack

For the month of July, I’m highlighting some of the fantastic restaurants and food spots I’ve visited in Atlanta. Today, on Day 27, let’s dive into my tasty experience at Shake Shack!

Shake Shack is a trendy spot that never fails to impress. I’ve been there a few times, and each visit is just as delicious as the last. While you have to order everything separately to create a meal, the quality and taste make it totally worth it.

Their burgers are a standout—juicy, flavorful, and always cooked to perfection. The buns are soft, and the toppings are always fresh. Don’t even get me started on their crinkle-cut fries—crispy and golden, they make the perfect side.

Shake Shack also offers mouthwatering milkshakes that are the ideal way to top off your meal. Creamy and rich, they come in a variety of flavors, and each one is a delightful treat.

Atlanta truly is the place for food lovers, and Shake Shack is a must-visit spot. If you haven’t been yet, it’s time to experience it for yourself. Grab a burger, some fries, and a shake, and enjoy a delicious meal in this bustling city.

  • Red Robin

For the month of July, I’m spotlighting some of the fantastic restaurants and food spots I’ve visited in Atlanta. Today, on Day 26, let’s dive into my delicious experience at Red Robin!

I’ve been to Red Robin countless times, and it never disappoints. One of the best things about Red Robin is their unlimited fries—seriously, you can never go wrong with endless fries! Every visit leaves me full and satisfied.

Their burgers are a standout—juicy, flavorful, and always cooked to perfection. And let’s not forget about their milkshakes, which are absolutely divine. They make the perfect treat to wash down those tasty burgers and fries.

Red Robin is a great spot to visit with family. It’s a place where everyone can find something they love, and the fun atmosphere adds to the overall dining experience.

If you haven’t been to Red Robin yet, it’s time to change that. Go for the unlimited fries, stay for the amazing burgers and milkshakes, and enjoy a fantastic meal with your loved ones.

  • Hopdoddy Burger Bar

July Restaurant Highlights: Day 10 at Hopdoddy Burger Bar

This month, I’m exploring some of the best eateries in Atlanta, and today’s feature is Hopdoddy Burger Bar. It was my first visit, and I have to say, their burgers are a must-try. The patties were juicy and flavorful, paired with a mountain of crispy fries that definitely hit the spot.

A heads-up: everything is à la carte, so you’ll need to order sides separately. The interior is inviting and spotless, with great customer service to match.

If you haven’t been to Hopdoddy yet, I highly recommend stopping by. It’s the perfect place to grab a burger, sit at the bar, and catch the game.

Slidders Pizza in Orlando Fl & Shake Shack

    By: Cece Hymes

I had a chance to go to Orlando Fl for my Birthday. We Checked out a place called Slidders pizza. It was pretty good. It was a thin pizza though. I like my pizza thick with meat, but it was good.

We also checked out Shake Shack burgers frozen custard fries shakes hot. It was pretty good my first time there. It’s a nice spot to get some juicy burgers and they also have some great shakes. I always wanted to go there and I was glad to check it out. I just wish they would sell it as a meal and not separate.

Have you checked these two places out. Let me know what your experience was with these two restaurants.
