Got a chance to do another thing off my bucket list in the Atlanta area. This was great. It shows multiple screen drive-ins located in Atlanta GA. You can see current and upcoming movies. I went to see John Wick, it was a little dark, but you can see everything that’s going on. The movie was great.
One thing I like about this place is that it’s not expensive, you can watch 2 movies for the price of one. Another thing I like is that you can hear it well in your car and bring your own snacks and can talk with other people in the car. The down part is that you have to keep your car running, you don’t want to run your battery dead. They do sell popcorn and things.
It is definitely something to try out and different. I am glad I was able to try it out and knock something else off my bucket list. Make sure to check it out and let me know what you think. Also, follow me @Cece.atlbucketlist and @Cece.Atl.
I got a chance to go to Kennesaw Mountain which is beautiful. Kennesaw Mountain is a mountain between Marietta and Kennesaw, Georgia with a summit elevation of 1808 feet. It is the highest point in the core metro Atlanta area. It has great trails all over the mountain. Its view is nice, and a lot of beautiful birds were out on this nice day.
This was on my bucket list, and I was glad that I was able to go and see the scenery. I want to try different nature walks and mountains. I didn’t go to the top, but the view is great.
Make sure to check it out and let me know what you love about Kennesaw Mountain. Also, follow me @Cece.atlbucketlist and Cece.Atl
I joined the read 30 minutes a day in the April challenge. They are taking donations to go back to St. Jude. You basically read and post your progress to your fundraiser! I chose to do this because I love reading. I also already read about 30 min every day anyway. I love a good challenge and books are my passion.
I wanted to share this with you to see if you are interested. I love a good cause. It has been 14,400 individuals have started joining the fundraiser. When you register and get your first donation, they will send you a T-shirt.
This is one of the challenges that I will be doing for the Month of April. Make sure to check it out. Here is the link. https://www.facebook.com/donate/1611350475943751/?fundraiser_source=external_url
Went out and hung out with some friends for a birthday gathering in Atlanta. First time going on a party bus. We went on the Go Go Party bus. It was nice. The driver was really nice and on time. The Party bus had lights in it, music, and a pole if you want to dance. It holds about 25 people. I really enjoyed this.
The first step was to The Clutch Restaurant. It was a really nice restaurant in Atlanta Ga. The food was Great I ended up having the Shrimp and Grits which was good. We tried the wings which were good and the brussels sprouts. They have Live music playing after a certain time. It is classy and nice. The customer service was good.
The last place we ended up going was the Parlor Lounge which was cool. They played House music. The people were cool and it’s a nice laid-back place. It’s like a chill spot to go to and dance. The smell when you came in wasn’t too good but once in the back and down to the dance floor you couldn’t smell it.
It was a nice day to get out and enjoy the Atlanta area and to try and do some new things and try new places. If you tried these places let me know what you liked about them. Make sure to follow me at @Cece.atl and @Cece.atlbucketlist
Coco Gauff is a professional tennis player. She is the youngest player ranked in the top 100 by the Women’s Tennis Association and has a career high ranking of No. 47 in the world in singles, and No. 42 in doubles.
Coco is very talented and works very hard. She has inspired so many people all over the world. She reminds me of Serena and Venus. Glad to see her out there being a young and talented tennis player. Follow your dreams and never give up.
I got to give her roses today and hope she has happiness, success and peace. What is one of your greatest moments you would like to share about Coco Gauff? Make sure to follow me @Cece.Atl
Florence Delorez Griffith Joyner, also known as Flo Jo, was a track and field athlete. She set world records in 1988 for the 100m and 200m. She was also known for her amazing fashion looks on the track.
Flo Jo is considered the fastest woman of all time based on the fact of her records. She inspired so many athletes all around the world. Some of her quotes that I liked:
“I believe in the impossible because no one else does”
“When anyone tells me I can’t do anything. I’m just not listening anymore”
“Nothing is going to be handed to you-you have to make things happen”
She was great. She inspired other athletes into fashion. Why not look good and run. What are some of your great memories you want to share of Flo Jo? Also make sure to follow me @Cece.Atl
