  • Place: Zoo

    Where: Atlanta Ga

    By: Cece Hymes

Since I have been living in Atlanta, I have been going to the zoo every year. If you don’t know, let me share this secret with you. You can get free tickets to the zoo once a year at the library. Don’t say I never hooked you up lol.

So, me and the family went to the zoo. It was hot out there this year. The animals were just laying around because of the heat. I am thankful that the zoo has those fans and it’s a lot of trees that give a lot of shade. They had the part where you walk around like the aquarium part of it closed and the petting zoo closed. So, we missed out on those two parts of the zoo.

Every year I go I try to bring someone who has never been or hasn’t been since they were young. My aunt went with me this time and she enjoyed it. She Has a disability, but they did have the electric wheelchairs you could rent so she enjoyed that.

The zoo did have some new animals I didn’t see last time I went. I really enjoy going to the zoo in Atlanta so if you haven’t been make sure to check it out.

  • Starlight Drive-In Theater

    Starlight Drive-In Theatre

    Atlanta GA

    By: Cece Hymes

Got a chance to do another thing off my bucket list in the Atlanta area. This was great. It shows multiple screen drive-ins located in Atlanta GA. You can see current and upcoming movies. I went to see John Wick, it was a little dark, but you can see everything that’s going on. The movie was great.

One thing I like about this place is that it’s not expensive, you can watch 2 movies for the price of one. Another thing I like is that you can hear it well in your car and bring your own snacks and can talk with other people in the car. The down part is that you have to keep your car running, you don’t want to run your battery dead.  They do sell popcorn and things.

It is definitely something to try out and different. I am glad I was able to try it out and knock something else off my bucket list. Make sure to check it out and let me know what you think. Also, follow me @Cece.atlbucketlist and @Cece.Atl.

  • A Night out in Atlanta GA

    A Night Out

    Atlanta, Ga

    By: Cece Hymes

Went out and hung out with some friends for a birthday gathering in Atlanta. First time going on a party bus. We went on the Go Go Party bus. It was nice. The driver was really nice and on time. The Party bus had lights in it, music, and a pole if you want to dance. It holds about 25 people. I really enjoyed this.

The first step was to The Clutch Restaurant. It was a really nice restaurant in Atlanta Ga. The food was Great I ended up having the Shrimp and Grits which was good. We tried the wings which were good and the brussels sprouts. They have Live music playing after a certain time. It is classy and nice. The customer service was good.

The last place we ended up going was the Parlor Lounge which was cool. They played House music. The people were cool and it’s a nice laid-back place. It’s like a chill spot to go to and dance. The smell when you came in wasn’t too good but once in the back and down to the dance floor you couldn’t smell it.

It was a nice day to get out and enjoy the Atlanta area and to try and do some new things and try new places. If you tried these places let me know what you liked about them. Make sure to follow me at @Cece.atl and @Cece.atlbucketlist

  • The Pancakes & Booze Art Show (Atlanta GA)

The Pancakes & Booze Art Show

    Where: Atlanta GA

    By: Cece Hymes

I got a chance to go check out The Pancakes & Booze Art Show with the ladies of W.S.S (Woman Stand Strong). It was different and cool. It is one of the largest pop-up live music & arts movements here in Atlanta. They do have this and go to different states. This was their 10th year serving free pancaking and introducing some great talent in art.

If you have Art that you want to present, you can submit your Artwork and be a part of their Pop-up. The directions on the GPS made it hard to find. I would recommend they put a sign outside or something. We had a hard time finding it. I really enjoyed the different drawings. I did not get a chance to try out the pancakes.

If you are an upcoming artist and want to strut your stuff, check them out. I have been wanting to check them out for a long time. I said 2023 I have to get out more and explore more of Atlanta Ga and what they have to offer.

Make sure to stay tuned and follow my journey @Cece.Atl  or @Cece.atlbucketlist

  • Mercedes Benz Stadium (Atlanta GA)

    Mercedes Benz Stadium (Atlanta Falcons)

    By: Cece Hymes

I love football but I never really go to the stadiums. When I moved to Atlanta, I started going to the Football games sometimes. The stadium was really nice. It’s not far from the subway. They tailgate. It was packed. It’s really nice and we always have seats very close to the field. When I tell you that the Celebrities go to these games and support them. We always see stars like Pastor Troy, Big Tigger and more at the games supporting their team.

The Stadium is very nice. It’s the home of the Atlanta Falcons.  No matter where you sit you always seem to be close to the stadium. They have a falcon statue outside which stands out. The Halo board displays 10k Ultra screens and it is very nice. When you first walk in, walk down a little you can see the field. It’s wide open.

It’s really a nice stadium and even though it’s not my team I do like the stadium. On my bucket list is to travel and go to at least 5 or more stadiums. I read a book that talked about the different stadiums and how nice they are.

If you are a football fan, make sure to check out the Atlanta stadium and tell me what you think about it.
