  • Titanic: An Immersive Voyage exhibition in Atlanta.

This month, I had a blast stepping back in time and diving into the glitz and glam of the Titanic with a trip to the Titanic: An Immersive Voyage exhibition in Atlanta. Let me tell you, if you’ve ever dreamed of sailing on the Titanic—or just love a good historical adventure—this experience is your ticket to a voyage like no other!

Imagine this: you’re not just visiting an exhibit; you’re actually embarking on a journey that makes you feel like you’ve stepped onto the legendary ship itself. From the moment you walk through the doors, you’re enveloped in the elegance and opulence of Titanic’s bygone era. The lavish décor, the detailed recreations of the grand staircase, and the stunning first-class cabins make you feel like you’re right there, rubbing elbows with high society from the early 20th century.

But wait, it gets even better! The real star of the show is the VR experience. Slip on the headset, and voila—you’re instantly transported to the Titanic in all its glory. It’s like you’re sailing through history, exploring the ship as if you were a passenger. The VR experience brings the Titanic to life in such a vibrant, thrilling way, you might just forget you’re in Atlanta and not actually on the high seas!

What really struck me was how the exhibition doesn’t just dazzle with its grandeur but also touches your heart with personal stories of those on board. It’s a journey through both the splendor and the human side of Titanic’s story, making it a deeply immersive and touching experience.

So, if you’re a Titanic aficionado or just someone looking for a fun and unique outing, this exhibition is a must-see. It’s a captivating dive into history that’s as entertaining as it is educational. Grab your ticket, set sail on this amazing voyage, and get ready to be blown away by the Titanic experience!

  • Atlanta Braves Stadium

Get ready for an exhilarating June as I take you on a thrilling journey through the heart of Atlanta! I’ve crafted my very own Atlanta Bucket List, packed with adventures and hidden gems. Some of these I’ve already experienced, and I’m excited to share my stories and insights with you. Let’s dive in!

    Day 18: Atlanta Braves Stadium

On the eighteenth day, I had the thrilling experience of attending my very first baseball game at the Atlanta Braves Stadium. It was an incredible night filled with excitement, and I’m so glad to have crossed this off my bucket list.

The atmosphere was electric, especially when the Braves hit home runs and the crowd erupted in cheers. And let’s not forget the spectacular fireworks display that lit up the sky—an unforgettable highlight! Our seats were fantastic, offering a great view of all the action on the field.

If you haven’t been to a Braves game yet, I highly recommend it. The energy, the camaraderie, and the pure joy of watching America’s favorite pastime live are truly something special. Don’t miss out on this quintessential Atlanta experience!

  • Mercedes Benz Stadium (Atlanta GA)

    Mercedes Benz Stadium (Atlanta Falcons)

    By: Cece Hymes

I love football but I never really go to the stadiums. When I moved to Atlanta, I started going to the Football games sometimes. The stadium was really nice. It’s not far from the subway. They tailgate. It was packed. It’s really nice and we always have seats very close to the field. When I tell you that the Celebrities go to these games and support them. We always see stars like Pastor Troy, Big Tigger and more at the games supporting their team.

The Stadium is very nice. It’s the home of the Atlanta Falcons.  No matter where you sit you always seem to be close to the stadium. They have a falcon statue outside which stands out. The Halo board displays 10k Ultra screens and it is very nice. When you first walk in, walk down a little you can see the field. It’s wide open.

It’s really a nice stadium and even though it’s not my team I do like the stadium. On my bucket list is to travel and go to at least 5 or more stadiums. I read a book that talked about the different stadiums and how nice they are.

If you are a football fan, make sure to check out the Atlanta stadium and tell me what you think about it.

  • Candytopia in Atlanta, GA

    Place: Candytopia in Atlanta, Ga

    By: Cece Hymes

I had a chance to go to Candytopia in Atlanta GA. This was different. It’s like a place of candland, you go through the different rooms and take great pics. It had a big thing with fake marshmallows that kids can jump in and play. It has different pictures of celebrities made out of candy. It’s like a candy playland. Kids would love it.

They have the room that you can go in and have to find clues. Another room is like a twirl like you falling. It’s just a different experience. If you like Willie Wonka & the Chocolate Factory then you would like Candytopia. It is something like that but a smaller version. I loved that movie growing up so you know I had to go and try this place out.

Candytopia goes to different cities so check your city and see if it’s one by you to try out. Take the family and go and take plenty of pictures. Enjoy the moment.

If you’ve ever been to Candtopia tell us what you thought about it.

  • Traveled to LA

    Traveled to LA

I got a chance to go to the west side for the first time. I was so excited to finally see LA. We see on TV and all the celebrities living in LA and how it looks so fun and beautiful. It was my best friend 40th birthday so I couldn’t miss this.  The first thing we did was go to an in and out burger place. We do not have that here on the east side. It was pretty good. I know it was a little expensive out there. It was so much to see out there. We went to the Hollywood walk of fame and walked the strip. Now going there, it is people everywhere trying to get their hustle on. We did get souvenirs and things from the strip.

We went to Hollywood to the sign, Beverly hills, Santacruz boardwalk, Griffith observatory, Santa Monica pier, fat burger and just sight seeing a lot of places. It was nice but the traffic was bad. Glad I did not have to drive. It is expensive over there compared to the east side. Fat burgers at that place were good. Those burgers were big and a little pricey, but it was worth it.

Glad to be able to knock off another place on my bucket list. Glad to experience the other side of the U.S. and to just see what it’s like that way. The culture there is a mix of people which is cool to see a blend. The flight wasn’t that bad. Glad to have gone out there and enjoyed spending time with my best friend for her 40th birthday.

Tell me about your experience If you ever have been. What were some of the things that you did while there?

  • Traveled to Clearwater FL

    Traveled to Clearwater FL

Had a chance to go to Clearwater FL. The beach was nice, and it was a great day to go. The waves were hitting just right. I love to go to the beach and just relax. It gives me peace of mind. We also went to the escape room. Now that was fun, we ended up winning and getting out of it. We had to open a couple of doors and get a couple of clues. It was hard and it makes you think. I love going to the escape room. It’s better when you go as a group and have more brains lol.

We also did the dolphin tour, and we were able to see two dolphins jumping out of the water and sight seeing that was cool. It also took us to another little, small part to do scuba diving if we wanted too. It was a good trip with great friends. We went to a couple spots to eat and just see what clearwater had to offer.

I definitely would go back. It’s a nice spot for vacation and a lot to do. This was just a weekend getaway, so we didn’t have a lot of time to do everything we wanted to do. I loved the view and if you have never been check it out. The Beach is nice if you love going to the beach.

  • Blue Ridge Mountains

    Travel to Blue Ridge Mountains

    By: Cece Hymes

Had a chance to go to the Blue Ridge Mountains with some friends. It was a different experience. It was a big cabin. It had a pool table, a jacuzzi, games, a lot of rooms and out in the woods. We went hiking but most of the time we relaxed in the cabin. We played games, cards, and grilled. Nice weekend getaway. First time in the cabins and would definitely go back. If you are looking for something to do in a peaceful place out in the mountains then check out Blue Ridge.

Sometimes just sitting outside relaxing with friends and talking is much needed. You have to have peace of mind sometimes. Getaway and just enjoy the scenery. If you have never been to the mountains try it out and they have all kinds of cabins, some have pools, some have up to 12 or more rooms. They have it where there’s enough room for a group of family and friends.

Have you ever been to the cabins? What’s your experience? Which cabin have you been to?

  • The Southern Pedaler

The Southern Pedaler in Atlanta GA

    By: Cece Hymes

I had a chance to experience the Southern Pedaler in Atlanta GA with some friends. The Southern Pedaler is a party bike where you pedal, and it seats maybe 15 people. It takes you through downtown Atlanta and it stops at a couple bars and eating places. We get a certain amount of time to get out and enjoy and be back to the bike. It has music on there. It was cool and different.

Just think of being on a bike with a lot of people laughing, listening to music, and enjoying a nice day downtown in Atlanta watching the scenery. We stopped at Harry Bakes, we experienced the wine bar, the taste bar, and we went to other places also we stopped maybe 3 to 4 places downtown. It’s very fun for a group of friends. You can also go at night. They have LED lights on it.

It was fun and different. I would definitely do it again but in another city so I can see how their city and town is. To experience their downtown. Atlanta has so much to do in this city you can never get bored. You just have to get out and find out where things are and what’s going on. Stay hip to the town. Also, they have a couple of these different bike rides in Atlanta. This one that we tried was really good and the host was very nice and good also. A lot of laughter and fun.

Have you ever experienced a bike ride like the pedalar? If so, how was your experience?
