For the month of July, I’m shining a spotlight on some amazing restaurants and food spots I’ve visited in Atlanta. Day 2 takes us to the delightful Six Feet Under, a place I’ve visited a few times and absolutely love!
There’s something special about sitting on their rooftop—it’s such a nice vibe. I’ve tried a variety of dishes there, but my absolute favorites are their gumbo and shrimp. The flavors are out of this world! And yes, I even tried the gator—it tastes like chicken, believe it or not, and it’s pretty good!
If you haven’t been to Six Feet Under, I highly recommend it—the food is fantastic. And if you have, what was your favorite dish? Let’s share our culinary adventures!
For the month of July, I want to shine a spotlight on some incredible celebrities I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and share the positive things I love about them. We often hear about the negative and the drama, but let’s flip the script and celebrate the good!
Kicking off Day 1, I have to talk about the one and only Ms. Juicy, the Queen of Atlanta Boo! She’s not just a great actress, but also a jack of all trades. Ms. Juicy’s life is a testament to hard work and determination, and what I admire most about her is her unwavering faith and her huge heart.
Every day, Ms. Juicy is out there grinding, showcasing what it means to be a true entrepreneur. Her interaction with fans on Instagram Live is something special. Unlike many celebrities, she always takes the time to give shout-outs and recognize her supporters. She’s not just a celebrity to me; she’s a great friend. I’ve learned so much from her, and she may not fully realize the positive impact she has on the world and the people around her.
So today, I want to give Ms. Juicy her flowers. She is special, and I want her to know how much she means to everyone including me. Keep up the fantastic work, Ms. Juicy! Blessings, blessings, blessings! This message is from cece.atl (insider joke). Make sure to check out her website at www.therealmsjuicybaby.com.
Also, don’t forget to check out some of her classic clips on YouTube from her time on the Rickey Smiley Show and Little Women of Atlanta. If you haven’t watched Strange Love yet, make sure to catch her on that too!
For the month of June, I’ll be highlighting exciting things to do in Atlanta, sharing my Atlanta bucket list experiences! Day 30 took me to the Fernbank Science Center. It’s important to note that the Fernbank Museum and the Fernbank Science Center are two different places, each with its own unique offerings.
At the Fernbank Science Center, I was captivated by the planetarium show—an absolute must-see! The immersive experience was both educational and mesmerizing. There is the Live Honey Bees—they freaked me out a bit! Despite that, learning about history and science was thoroughly enjoyable.
If you haven’t checked out the Fernbank Science Center yet, add it to your list. It’s a fantastic spot for both kids and adults to explore and learn. The planetarium show alone makes the trip worthwhile!
For the month of June, I’ll be highlighting exciting things to do in Atlanta, sharing my Atlanta bucket list experiences! Day 29 was an exhilarating trip to Six Flags Over Georgia. I’ve been a few times, and it’s always a blast. The family loves it, and there’s something for everyone.
When I was younger, I was all about the roller coasters. Now that I’m a bit older, I prefer the water rides and indulging in some delicious funnel cakes. Six Flags is perfect for all ages, whether you’re a thrill-seeker or just looking to enjoy a fun day out.
One tip: It can get really hot in the summer, so I recommend going in the spring or fall. Halloween time at Six Flags is especially fun with all the spooky decorations and events. If you haven’t been yet, put Six Flags Over Georgia on your must-visit list!

On the twentieth day, I tackled the iconic Stone Mountain Park, a place I’ve visited many times but never ceases to amaze me. Climbing to the top of the mountain was a grueling challenge, but the sense of accomplishment when reaching the summit made it all worthwhile.
Stone Mountain offers so much more than just the climb. I’ve walked the scenic 5-mile trail around the mountain, where that last mile always tests my endurance. The park is also a prime spot for enjoying spectacular fireworks on the 4th of July and mesmerizing laser shows.
Beyond the natural beauty, Stone Mountain Park boasts a variety of attractions. From the engaging theater and picturesque golf course to the thrilling zipline adventures, there’s something for everyone. From rooms that flip your perspective upside down to exhibits that make it look like you’ve lost your head, the Museum of Illusions is an endless source of photo-worthy moments. Every corner offered a new and exciting optical illusion, making it impossible to put your camera down.
