For the month of July, I will be highlighting some of the best restaurants and food spots I’ve visited in Atlanta. Get ready for a delicious journey!
Day 6: Cracker Barrel
I’ve been to Cracker Barrel plenty of times, and let me tell you, they have some of the best pancakes ever! I don’t know what their secret is, but their pancakes are fluffy, big, and absolutely delicious. I usually go there for breakfast, but they also serve dinner. If you’ve never been, you’ve got to try their pancakes. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you!

Day 5: Pastor Troy
I’ve had the chance to meet Pastor Troy a few times here in Atlanta, and he always seems so cool and down-to-earth. If you’ve ever been to a football game, you know he’ll be there, always reppin’ the city with pride. Beyond the music and the fame, Pastor Troy is deeply involved in the community. He’s often out feeding families and partnering with local restaurants to give back.
One Easter, I even got to help out with an event he organized for kids in the community, and it was such a rewarding experience. I truly admire what he does for the youth and the positive impact he makes.
Today, I want to give Pastor Troy his flowers and encourage him to keep doing great things in the city. And one day, I’m going to win that belt he carries with him – mark my words lol!

Day 5: Trend Urban Cafe
I had the pleasure of checking out Trend Urban Cafe, and let me tell you, the food is amazing. They even offer vegan options! My absolute favorite is the Salmon Burger – it’s so good. I’ve tried a lot of their dishes, and the Shrimp Po’ Boy and hoagies are top-notch. Plus, the portions are generous, so you’ll have plenty to enjoy.
The vibe at Trend Urban Cafe is great, and on certain days, they feature live entertainment. The Chef also hosts private wine tastings and dinners, adding an extra touch of sophistication. If you haven’t been, you’ve got to check it out!

Day 4: I had the incredible opportunity to meet Donell Jones in Atlanta. This R&B legend has been making music for over 25 years and is still going strong. He’s collaborated with countless artists and left an indelible mark on the music industry.
When I met him in Atlanta, he was supporting an event for sickle cell awareness, showing his dedication to giving back to the community. He was super nice and down-to-earth. Be sure to check out his new music, and if you haven’t already, keep “Where I Wanna Be” on repeat – it’s a timeless classic!
For the month of July, I’ll be highlighting some fantastic restaurants and food spots I’ve visited in Atlanta. Let’s dive into Day 4!
I got a chance to visit Pappadeaux, and let me tell you, it’s always a treat. I’ve been there a few times, and each visit is just as delightful as the last. The food is consistently amazing, and the customer service is top-notch. Whether you’re a seafood lover or just looking for a great dining experience, Pappadeaux has something for everyone. If you’re in Atlanta, you absolutely have to check it out!
For the month of July, I’m shining a spotlight on some amazing celebrities I’ve met and the positive impact they’ve had. We often hear the negative and the drama, but let’s flip the script and celebrate the good! On Day 3, I want to share my experience meeting Ceasar from Black Ink.
I’ve had the pleasure of meeting Ceasar twice here in Atlanta. The first time was at an event at the Black Ink Studio, which was fantastic. The atmosphere was buzzing with music performances and great networking opportunities. The studio itself was impressive and lived up to its hype.
The second time I met Ceasar was at a bowling fundraiser event. Even though he looked tired, he was kind enough to chat with us and pose for a picture. (Side note: I’m not much of a picture person, so I always look a bit off in them, but it’s all good!)
Despite the drama you might hear about him on social media, my personal experiences with Ceasar have been nothing but positive. I don’t watch much reality TV—I’m more of a bookworm—but from what I’ve seen, he’s built a successful business with Black Ink Tattoo Studios, opening multiple locations and helping others become entrepreneurs.
Recently, it looks like he’s been hitting the gym and focusing on fitness. Be sure to check out some classic clips from Black Ink and catch him in his new movie, Is Eight Enough.
For the month of July, I’m diving into the vibrant food scene of Atlanta and highlighting some of the best restaurants and food spots I’ve experienced. On Day 3, I got to check out Clutch, and let me tell you, this spot is a gem!
Clutch has fantastic vibes and live entertainment that adds to the overall experience. I indulged in their shrimp and grits, which were absolutely delicious. I also had a bite of my friend’s chicken, and it was equally impressive. The inside is stylish and inviting, and the customer service was top-notch.
If you haven’t been to Clutch yet, I highly recommend it for a great meal and a fun time. It’s definitely a place I’ll be visiting again!

Day 2 is all about the multi-talented Common, a rapper and actor who embodies positivity and community spirit. I had the chance to meet him twice—once in Jamaica and once in Atlanta. In Jamaica, I even got to meet his band, who were really cool. Although Common was running late, he made sure we got our picture together, which I’m so thankful for (even if I wasn’t thrilled with the face I made—I’m not a picture person, lol).
I also supported him at a book signing for his memoir “Let Love Have the Last Word,” which is an inspiring read. He has another book, “And Then We Rise,” which I haven’t read yet but it’s on my list—I love reading! Today, I want to give Common his roses for all the positive work he’s done in the community.
Common started a nonprofit organization focused on mentoring, arts programs, and service projects to help underprivileged young people. He has partnered with others to raise scholarship money for students at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and has worked closely with the prison community. These are just a few of the many amazing things he’s done.
When I met him both times, he was very nice and positive. Make sure to check out his books—both of them! Also, if you haven’t seen the movie “Just Wright,” starring Common, it’s a great film. And don’t miss his song “Love of My Life” with Erykah Badu—it’s a fantastic track.
Common, thank you for all you do! You truly deserve these roses.
For the month of July, I’m shining a spotlight on some amazing restaurants and food spots I’ve visited in Atlanta. Day 2 takes us to the delightful Six Feet Under, a place I’ve visited a few times and absolutely love!
There’s something special about sitting on their rooftop—it’s such a nice vibe. I’ve tried a variety of dishes there, but my absolute favorites are their gumbo and shrimp. The flavors are out of this world! And yes, I even tried the gator—it tastes like chicken, believe it or not, and it’s pretty good!
If you haven’t been to Six Feet Under, I highly recommend it—the food is fantastic. And if you have, what was your favorite dish? Let’s share our culinary adventures!

Kicking off Day 1, I have to talk about the one and only Ms. Juicy, the Queen of Atlanta Boo! She’s not just a great actress, but also a jack of all trades. Ms. Juicy’s life is a testament to hard work and determination, and what I admire most about her is her unwavering faith and her huge heart.
Every day, Ms. Juicy is out there grinding, showcasing what it means to be a true entrepreneur. Her interaction with fans on Instagram Live is something special. Unlike many celebrities, she always takes the time to give shout-outs and recognize her supporters. She’s not just a celebrity to me; she’s a great friend. I’ve learned so much from her, and she may not fully realize the positive impact she has on the world and the people around her.
So today, I want to give Ms. Juicy her flowers. She is special, and I want her to know how much she means to everyone including me. Keep up the fantastic work, Ms. Juicy! Blessings, blessings, blessings! This message is from cece.atl (insider joke). Make sure to check out her website at www.therealmsjuicybaby.com.
Also, don’t forget to check out some of her classic clips on YouTube from her time on the Rickey Smiley Show and Little Women of Atlanta. If you haven’t watched Strange Love yet, make sure to catch her on that too!
