    Topic: Summer

    It’s almost summer
    Oh how time flies
    It’s getting hot
    But I am not surprised

Got to plan somethings to do
    Hoping and praying
    I get a new boo

    I made a bucketlist
    I can’t wait to try
    Hang out with friends
    And family time

    This summer going be fun
    I know for sure
    Getting out this house
    To live and enjoy

    Oh I can’t wait
    To go swimming
    And rollerskate

Let’s see what this summer brings
    I cannot wait
    For cookouts and funnel cakes

    Day 23

    Q. How do you overcome bad habits?

    A. I pray over it and try to not go back to whatever that bad habit is. I put my mind somewhere else and get accountability partners.

    Day 13

    A Memorable Stranger

One day I was out with others, and we were feeding the homeless. We walked around the park we were at to let them know it was food up there and they could get some. Some were asleep and others were just laying there. This one man was on the bench and as we approached, he started talking to us about God and history. He had a book in his hand, and I just stood there and listened. He was very intelligent.

Even in the state he was in he seemed to be happy, smart, and still sharing the word. I would never forget that moment and that stranger because no matter what situation you are in you still have to believe and know that something good is going to happen. He made me feel good and since then I told myself if I can help or do something in the community at least every 3 months than I am.

With that being said everyone has a story and testimony, and you can never judge anyone. So that’s been my tradition to give if I can. This stranger opened my mind and heart in many ways, and he did not even know he did. His words and wisdom touched my soul.

    Day 12

    A Friend

I had a friend I have known since I was 9 years old. I had the biggest crush on him. We would talk on the phone all the time. He could sing and he would sing to me all the time. We stayed friends all these years. He was a really cool dude.

A couple years ago he passed away and it really hit me hard. All the memories, talks and just being friends for so many years. Any time I would go to my hometown I would always make sure to try to see him. I am thankful I did. You just never know when it’s your time.

With that being said, tell your friends you love them, just pop up on them, see them if you can. Life is too short.
