    Deion Sanders SR.

    By: Cece Hymes

Deion Sanders Sr is a football coach and former football player. We all call Deion Primetime and coach Prime. When he played NFL he played for Atlanta Falcons, San Francisco 49ers, Dallas Cowboys, Washington Redskins and Baltimore Ravens.

Deion Sanders was also a baseball outfielder for nine seasons in Major League Baseball with the New York Yankees, Atlanta Braves, Cincinnati Reds, and San Francisco Giants. He is a jack of all trades.

Deion Sanders has inspired so many athletes and people all over the world. I remember when I was in middle school I would get all the pairs of Deion Sanders shoes. I loved those shoes. Deion Sanders has won plenty of awards and also has baseball cards.

I love that he is coaching and still doing what he loves to do. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame and the College Football Hall of Fame. I got to give him roses today and hope he has happiness, success and peace. What is one of your greatest moments you would like to share about Deion Sanders? Make sure to follow me @Cece.Atl

  • John Madden (Great Memories)

    John Madden

    By: Cece Hymes

John Madden was an American football coach and sportscaster. He won Super Bowl XI as head coach of the Oakland Raiders over the Minnesota Vikings, and after retiring from coaching became a well-known color commentator for NFL telecasts.

Did you know in 2006 he was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in recognition of his coaching career. He also is known for the long-running Madden NFL video game series. What a gift he was to football. He was definitely the goat for color commentators, he didn’t miss anything.  Some of my favorite quotes by him are:

“Don’t worry about the horse being blind, just load the wagon”

    “Self-praise is for losers”

“Well, when you’re playing good football, it’s good football and if you don’t have good football, then you’re not really playing good football”

John Madden has written several books, including the best-selling “Hey, Wait a Minute, I Wrote a Book!” and “One Knee Equals Two Feet”. Make sure to check them out. What was the most memorable moment you have of John Madden? Comment below and let us know. Also follow me @Cece. Atl.
