  • Dare To Be Yourself

    Dare To Be Yourself

Stand up and show the world who you are. Your most genuine self is not the self that seeks to fit in; it is the part of you that is wild, unexpected, and extraordinary. Own that part of you. Show yourself the acceptance and respect what you deserve, and in so doing. You will be asking the same of others. It takes courage to be unapologetic about who you are. Be courageous and do it anyway.

It’s powerful to be in the company of someone who accepts themselves fully flaws and all. They stand taller with their head held high-majestic. They know who they are and they own that. Today is your turn to own it. Who are you really?

Dare to be the most authentic version of yourself, and so,too, will others. Enjoy the freedom that comes from deep self-acceptance and self-love. You are worthy of it.

  • An exercise in Assuming Positivity

    An exercise in assuming positivity

Life is simple, everything happens for you not to you

What if you assumed that everything in your life is working for you rather than against you? Would that change your actions? How? Why?

Assuming positivity will allow you to trust outcomes, regardless of whether they are perceived to be good or bad

  • When Things Don’t Go As Planned

When things Don’t Go As Planned

For better or worse, life will not always go as planned. When you’re experiencing a challenge,  rather than assuming the worst possible scenario,  ask yourself what you could learn from it. What in this challenge could make you stronger, more loving, or more empathetic? Sit with what comes up, and have a notebook nearby to record your thoughts. You won’t always find the answer you want to hear but you’ll begin to recognize that things are not always as negative as they may seem initially.

  • An Exercise in Confidence

    An exercise in confidence

When you’re trying to be humble, it’s easy to forget how extraordinary you are. Make a list of your best qualities. Feel free to be generous with your praise. Brag! You dont always have to be humble. Reminding yourself of your abilities and positive traits is an act of empowerment,  not arrogance.

Then turn your list into a series of affirmations by adding “I am” before each one: I am incredibly generous.  I am beautiful.  I am a great parent, I am a loyal friend.

  • Practice Positivity

    Practice positivity

Look for the good in every experience and, as best as you can, find the lessons in each setback. Celebrate wins, seek out the bright side. Surround yourself with positive people and environments. Being optimistic takes practice.  Optimism may not work all the time, but the more you practice thinking positively,  the more optimism becomes second nature.
