  • Clutch Atlanta Restaurant

For the month of July, I’m diving into the vibrant food scene of Atlanta and highlighting some of the best restaurants and food spots I’ve experienced. On Day 3, I got to check out Clutch, and let me tell you, this spot is a gem!

Clutch has fantastic vibes and live entertainment that adds to the overall experience. I indulged in their shrimp and grits, which were absolutely delicious. I also had a bite of my friend’s chicken, and it was equally impressive. The inside is stylish and inviting, and the customer service was top-notch.

If you haven’t been to Clutch yet, I highly recommend it for a great meal and a fun time. It’s definitely a place I’ll be visiting again!

There’s something special about sitting on their rooftop—it’s such a nice vibe. I’ve tried a variety of dishes there, but my absolute favorites are their gumbo and shrimp. The flavors are out of this world! And yes, I even tried the gator—it tastes like chicken, believe it or not, and it’s pretty good!

If you haven’t been to Six Feet Under, I highly recommend it—the food is fantastic. And if you have, what was your favorite dish? Let’s share our culinary adventures!

  • Cherish the moment

As May comes to an end, it’s been a month full of rain and reflection. This month is always bittersweet for me because of Mother’s Day. I didn’t write much because I tend to feel quite sad around this time. My mom is no longer with us, and I miss her dearly.

Despite the sadness, I had a wonderful day with my kids. They took me out to Six Feet Under in Atlanta, where we enjoyed a lovely meal on the rooftop. The weather was perfect, and we feasted on alligator, shrimp, and gumbo. It was a beautiful experience.

I want to take a moment to remind everyone to treasure your mom while she’s here. You never know when you’ll hear her voice or see her smile for the last time. Cherish your parents. I’m grateful for the memories and the time we shared. Every year, we write messages on balloons and release them for my mother and grandmother. It’s our way of honoring them and keeping their memories alive.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother’s Day and enjoyed time with their moms. If you’re in Atlanta, definitely check out Six Feet Under—they never disappoint. This summer, I plan to try new places and create many new memories. There’s so much I want to do and experience.

Tell me, what’s on your bucket list? Do you have a favorite rooftop spot in Atlanta? I’d love to hear your recommendations!

  • Milk & Honey

    Restaurant: Milk & Honey

    Where: Snellville GA

    By: Cece Hymes

Got a chance to try out this restaurant. They opened one up out here in Snellville and it was pretty good, the food was great. Milk & Honey brings you that southern feel. They bring out great dishes like their Award-Winning Shrimp and Grits.  I am a brunch eater, so I had some french toast, scrambled eggs and cheese and bacon. It was delicious. I always wanted to know why they call it Milk & Honey. The next time I visit I will have to ask.

They serve a little of everything. Chicken, waffles, crabcakes and more. They have a couple of places around the Atlanta area. Make sure to check them out.  I got to try the Shrimp and Grits next. If you have been to Milk & Honey, what was your favorite dish? How was the experience?

We had great customer service and I would recommend anyone to try it out.  Atlanta always has some of the greatest food places.

  • Bahama Breeze

    Restaurant: Bahama Breeze

    Where: Duluth Ga

    By: Cece Hymes

I got a chance to try this place out. I have been before, but it has been a minute. This is like a Caribbean spot. It’s a very nice place. You can also sit outside around the fire.  It’s like a vibrant island atmosphere. I ended up getting the shrimp and lobster pasta. That was good. They also have live music there and happy hour.

I went before in the summer, and it was nice outside. I would definitely recommend this place if you liked a nice island kind of vibe. The drinks are good. If you like a nice fruity drink like me (ladies) lol then try their tropical drinks. It’s not pricey and there are plenty to choose from.

Check out Bahama Breeze and let me know what you think. Also follow me @Cece.atl

  • EggRoll Boyz

    EggRoll Boyz

    By: Cece Hymes

Had a chance to go check this restaurant out. It was really nice. The food was really good. I definitely would recommend it to everyone.  I had the Philly Boyz Full with the cheesy boy Fryz. I love trying out new places and new foods. This place is located in Alpharetta GA.

A little about them is they are a local multicultural group of chefs, foodies and explorers. Their Eggrollz are inspired by their travels across the globe. Bursting with flavor, some familiar, and some exotic.

Here are some pics, make sure to check them out if you are in the Atlanta area. Shout out to Maleeka Holloway for the invite. You are awesome and doing great things. Keep up the good work and hope 2023 be the best year ever.

  • Slidders Pizza & Shake Shack in Orlando FL

Slidders Pizza in Orlando Fl & Shake Shack

    By: Cece Hymes

I had a chance to go to Orlando Fl for my Birthday. We Checked out a place called Slidders pizza. It was pretty good. It was a thin pizza though. I like my pizza thick with meat, but it was good.

We also checked out Shake Shack burgers frozen custard fries shakes hot. It was pretty good my first time there. It’s a nice spot to get some juicy burgers and they also have some great shakes. I always wanted to go there and I was glad to check it out. I just wish they would sell it as a meal and not separate.

Have you checked these two places out. Let me know what your experience was with these two restaurants.
