  • A Night of Laughter at the City Winery: Unforgettable Moments with Wild ‘N Out Stars

Jan 9th, my homegirl and I embarked on a quest for laughter, and our destination was the City Winery in Atlanta. Little did we know that this evening would be filled with uproarious moments, courtesy of the comedic talents of Darren Brand, Tyler Chronicles, and J McNutt – all familiar faces from the hit show Wild ‘N Out.

The City Winery, known for its unique blend of fine wines and live entertainment, set the stage for a night that promised both sophistication and belly-aching laughter. As we settled into our seats, anticipation hung in the air, and we knew we were in for a treat.

J McNutt took the stage first, He brought a different flavor to the comedy lineup. His delivery was smooth, and his jokes were laced with a unique perspective on life. McNutt’s performance was the perfect cherry on top of an already fantastic comedic sundae.

Darren Brand, with his infectious energy and quick-witted humor, took the stage 2nd. His comedic prowess, honed on the Wild ‘N Out battlefield, had the entire audience in stitches. From hilarious anecdotes about his own life to playful banter with the crowd, Brand’s performance was a rollercoaster of laughter that left us gasping for breath.

Tyler Chronicles, another Wild ‘N Out alum, followed suit and took the comedy baton. His unique style, a blend of observational humor and spot-on impersonations, resonated with the diverse audience. What stood out, however, was not just his on-stage antics but also the insightful interview he recently gave for my magazine, “Where It Begins.”

In the interview, Chronicles delved into his journey, sharing anecdotes from his rise in the comedy world. Hearing his experiences first hand added an extra layer of appreciation to his on-stage performance. It was like getting a backstage pass to the mind of a comedic genius.

The laughter echoed through the walls of the City Winery, creating an atmosphere of joy and camaraderie. It wasn’t just a show; it was a shared experience, a collective release of stress and tension through the healing power of laughter.

As the curtain closed on the night’s performances, my homegirl and I couldn’t help but reminisce about the hilarious moments that unfolded before us. It was more than just a great night out; it was a reminder of the importance of laughter in our lives.

But the night didn’t end there. Tyler Chronicles & Darren Brand, being the gracious and approachable artist that they are, took a moment to connect with fans. Their humility and genuine appreciation for their supporters shone through as they graciously posed for photos..

In the end, our quest for laughter at the City Winery turned into a memory we’ll cherish forever. Darren Brand, Tyler Chronicles, and J McNutt not only delivered a fantastic show but also reminded us of the power of laughter to bring people together. Here’s to more nights filled with joy, camaraderie, and, of course, laughter – the best medicine for the soul.

  • A Night out in Atlanta GA

    A Night Out

    Atlanta, Ga

    By: Cece Hymes

Went out and hung out with some friends for a birthday gathering in Atlanta. First time going on a party bus. We went on the Go Go Party bus. It was nice. The driver was really nice and on time. The Party bus had lights in it, music, and a pole if you want to dance. It holds about 25 people. I really enjoyed this.

The first step was to The Clutch Restaurant. It was a really nice restaurant in Atlanta Ga. The food was Great I ended up having the Shrimp and Grits which was good. We tried the wings which were good and the brussels sprouts. They have Live music playing after a certain time. It is classy and nice. The customer service was good.

The last place we ended up going was the Parlor Lounge which was cool. They played House music. The people were cool and it’s a nice laid-back place. It’s like a chill spot to go to and dance. The smell when you came in wasn’t too good but once in the back and down to the dance floor you couldn’t smell it.

It was a nice day to get out and enjoy the Atlanta area and to try and do some new things and try new places. If you tried these places let me know what you liked about them. Make sure to follow me at @Cece.atl and @Cece.atlbucketlist

This is a new place where the Drag Queens entertain with their clothes on lol. More like karaoke.  They offer delicious food, fierce cocktails and great performances. They serve brunches and dinners.

The couple of times I have been it was someone’s birthday. They have a special shout out for the birthday and bachelorette people. It is a little pricey but the food and entertainment is good. I ended up this time getting the shrimp and grits. Which was good.

  • Super bowl in Atlanta in 2019

Super Bowl in Atlanta in 2019

Had to go back to the Super Bowl In Atlanta. I got a chance to do media the whole weekend with a lot of different celebrities coming out. Just enjoying Atlanta meeting all kinds of people doing interviews. It was Super Bowl LIII, the 53rd Super Bowl. The game was with the New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams in Atlanta.

We partied the whole weekend. We were at the Super Atrium in downtown Atlanta. Big Tigger was the co-host on one of the nights. Some of the celebrities that were in the building at the weekend were Mike Vick, Lil Duval, T.I., Cedric the entertainer and more. It was nice and the event went smoothly.

Let me give you a little laughter, I was in V.I.P. We were walking with the celebrities. We had to go down some stairs. I was walking with Toya, Rasheeda, and Kirk. I turned around to speak and missed a step and fell. I got up so fast and moved quickly. I was going to make sure no one got me on camera. That was an embarrassing moment. I shook it off and stayed out of sight for a minute.

This Super Bowl was one for the books. I really enjoyed having to get out and meet people and do media for the area. I know the promoters made some good money that weekend. It was packed, it was nice. All I can say is that this was a weekend I will never forget.

One thing I love about Atlanta is that this is the city where we have a lot going on and a lot of entrepreneurs. It’s always something to do in Atlanta. You can find a hustle and you can grow.

  • Blue Ridge Mountains

    Travel to Blue Ridge Mountains

    By: Cece Hymes

Had a chance to go to the Blue Ridge Mountains with some friends. It was a different experience. It was a big cabin. It had a pool table, a jacuzzi, games, a lot of rooms and out in the woods. We went hiking but most of the time we relaxed in the cabin. We played games, cards, and grilled. Nice weekend getaway. First time in the cabins and would definitely go back. If you are looking for something to do in a peaceful place out in the mountains then check out Blue Ridge.

Sometimes just sitting outside relaxing with friends and talking is much needed. You have to have peace of mind sometimes. Getaway and just enjoy the scenery. If you have never been to the mountains try it out and they have all kinds of cabins, some have pools, some have up to 12 or more rooms. They have it where there’s enough room for a group of family and friends.

Have you ever been to the cabins? What’s your experience? Which cabin have you been to?
