  • Falling Into October: Journals, Candles & Cozy Vibes with Cece

Hey everyone! ๐Ÿ‚โœจ Welcome to Octoberโ€”the season of cozy sweaters, warm drinks, and colorful leaves drifting down. You can feel the shift in the air, and Iโ€™m here for all the fall vibes.

This month, Iโ€™m kicking off something special: The Cece Journal Challenge. ๐Ÿ““๐Ÿ Itโ€™s a reflection journey inspired by fall, where weโ€™ll dive into self-care, gratitude, and growth. Want to join in? Drop a comment below and letโ€™s journal together!

Of course, fall wouldnโ€™t be complete without candles. ๐Ÿ•ฏ๏ธ Here are three of my favorites to set the mood:

    • Benevolence LA Eucalyptus Orange Wood Wick Candle โ€“ soy, fresh, cozy, and perfect for home (45-hour burn) ๐Ÿ‘‰ Grab it here
    • Yankee Candle French Vanilla โ€“ sweet, classic, and long-lasting (up to 150 hours burn) ๐Ÿ‘‰ Get it here
    • Yankee Candle Autumn Wreath โ€“ the ultimate fall scent in a large jar ๐Ÿ‘‰ Shop here

And guess what? Cece on the Scenes is back! ๐ŸŽฌโœจ I had the pleasure of watching Ruth & Boaz, starring powerhouses like Serayah McNeill, Tyler Lepley, Phylicia Rashad, and more. Let me just sayโ€”itโ€™s a solid 5/5 in my book. ๐ŸŒŸ

This film is more than a love storyโ€”itโ€™s a reminder that love is real, joy is worth waiting for, and dreams are worth chasing. ๐Ÿ’• Donโ€™t settle, donโ€™t give up, keep believing. Have you seen it yet? ๐Ÿฟ๐Ÿ‘€

Over in Cece Book Club, I wanted to highlight one of Kennedy Ryanโ€™s gems. She never fails to pull me in with her storytelling. This one gets โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ/5 from me. ๐Ÿ“šโœจ Check it out ๐Ÿ‘‰ Read here

Finally, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month ๐Ÿ’–โ€”so letโ€™s honor survivors, uplift warriors, and remember loved ones. Sending love and light to all.

Oh, and Iโ€™ve got some travel plans brewing โœˆ๏ธ๐ŸŒ โ€ฆ stay tuned because I canโ€™t wait to share where Iโ€™m headed next!

Cheers to a beautiful October filled with cozy vibes, meaningful reflections, and new adventures. ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ•ฏ๏ธ๐Ÿ“š

  • Breast Cancer Awareness is coming!

This month, I want to take a moment to reflect on and share some of the impactful work I’ve been involved in within the community. One cause that holds a special place in my heart is breast cancer awareness. Every year, as October approaches, I make it a priority to contribute in any way I can to this important cause.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month is not just a time to wear pink; it’s a time to stand in solidarity with those who are fighting, to remember those we’ve lost, and to support ongoing research and care. For the past several years, I’ve made it a tradition to purchase items specifically for this cause and donate them to a local breast care facility. The act of giving, no matter how small, is my way of contributing to the support system that so many people depend on during their battle with this disease.

In addition to donating items, I’ve also volunteered at breast cancer walks, which have been some of the most uplifting and inspiring events I’ve ever participated in. The sense of community at these walks is palpableโ€”hundreds of people coming together, all with the same goal of raising awareness and funds to fight breast cancer. There’s a shared strength and resilience in these gatherings, and it’s an honor to walk alongside survivors, fighters, and supporters.

This year, as we move into October, I’m once again gearing up to give back. I plan to help out at local events, make donations, and do whatever I can to support those affected by breast cancer. It’s more than just a yearly commitment; it’s a personal mission to make a difference, no matter how big or small.

Looking ahead, I hope to continue finding new ways to contribute, whether it’s through increased donations, more volunteer hours, or even organizing my own awareness events. Breast cancer has touched the lives of so many, and it’s crucial that we all do our part to support the ongoing fight. As October unfolds, I’m eager to see the positive impact we can make together as a community, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to be a part of this important cause.

Let’s make this Breast Cancer Awareness Month one to remember by standing together, supporting one another, and continuing to spread awareness in every way we can. Whether you’re participating in a walk, making a donation, or simply wearing pink, every effort counts. Here’s to making a differenceโ€”one step, one donation, one act of kindness at a time.
