  • An exercise in Assuming Positivity

    An exercise in assuming positivity

Life is simple, everything happens for you not to you

What if you assumed that everything in your life is working for you rather than against you? Would that change your actions? How? Why?

  • When Things Don’t Go As Planned

When things Don’t Go As Planned

For better or worse, life will not always go as planned. When you’re experiencing a challenge,  rather than assuming the worst possible scenario,  ask yourself what you could learn from it. What in this challenge could make you stronger, more loving, or more empathetic? Sit with what comes up, and have a notebook nearby to record your thoughts. You won’t always find the answer you want to hear but you’ll begin to recognize that things are not always as negative as they may seem initially.

Look for the good in every experience and, as best as you can, find the lessons in each setback. Celebrate wins, seek out the bright side. Surround yourself with positive people and environments. Being optimistic takes practice.  Optimism may not work all the time, but the more you practice thinking positively,  the more optimism becomes second nature.

  • Regret Doesn’t Serve You

    Regret Doesn’t Serve You

Regret wont serve you as life passes you by. While you can , kiss more and love with all your heart, even if it may get broken. Forgive even when it hurts. Surrender and move on. Worry less. Travel more. Spend more time with the ones you adore and less time with the ones you don’t. Don’t work too hard. Make time for yourself. Above all else, live a life you’re proud of, and release all regrets.
