    Q. Who or what inspired you to be a singer?

    A. I always wanted to sing, and a goal of mine has always been to hear myself on the radio or perform in front of a huge crowd, but I was always scored to sing in front of others. My mom who has a beautiful voice of her own pushed me to get into voice lessons and helped me see the talent I had in which I soon realized I was ready to share with others!

    Q. What advice can you give others that want to be a model?

    A. My advice for other people that want to break into modeling or pageants is to keep your head high and know your worth. In this industry, there is a lot of competition, and you are guaranteed to be turned down for some things, but don’t give up! Keep your head high and know that you are amazing, and it just wasn’t your time yet.

    Q. What is one of your greatest accomplishments?

    A. One of my greatest accomplishments is winning Miss Teen World America CT and using that title to do amazing things, which landed me first runner up in Vegas for Miss Teen World America.

    A. As it pertains to my personality. I would say, “I’m an optimistic, open minded, multi-faceted and overzealously positive individual, Radiating Kindness is second nature to me. As an artist I display versatility and I’m an individual that you can’t put into one singular box. I had humble beginnings that shaped me into the person I am today.

    Q. Looking at your work it is so unique. How do you come up with your designs?

    A. Some of my makeup designs are manifested from experiences I’ve had from the part and translated into a makeup look. Also, my work is created by referring to other artists’ work and replicating it onto my body. This allows me to tailor it to be more on brand for myself or give it an entirely different meaning.

    Q. I see you were selected by Ultra Cosmetics Congratulations, How do you feel about that?

    A. I am absolutely elated about this opportunity! Today this is one of my biggest accomplishments and I’m honored to have been selected to represent Ohio for the Ulta Beauty Collective.

    Q. Tell us about your journey in doing cosmetics?

    A. My interest in makeup started at the age of 14. I was solely doing it to present myself in a more feminine way that aligned with how I felt on the inside. But I began to see some of my favorite beauty artists on both YouTube and Instagram makeup and how they used it to fully transform themselves.

    Interview with Kissa Jo

    By: Where It Begins

Quote “I love to create so most of my hobbies are doing just that. I make dream catchers, waist beads, and paint but I’m most passionate about acting and producing shows and films.”

    Q. Tell us more about Kissa Jo?

    A. I am a goddess that believes my purpose is to spread love and healing through tantra, dancing, and music. I’m all about love and light and sharing my journey to complete self-love (my light and darkness) with those in need.

    Q. What or who influenced you to get into music?

    A. I’ve wanted to do music since I was a little girl. I think my biggest influences would have to be my 2 first loves: My daddy and Michael Jackson. My father has a beautiful voice and sings with a group in church. When I would hear or watch them perform, I would be In heaven.

    Q. Tell us about your EP (Therapy)?

    A. My EP Therapy is a kind of road map of my healing. From losing control and falling into temptation, in the first song Dangerous, to the last song Feels Like Love, where I finally love myself and can have a healthy love with others; therapy is a love story with myself.

One last thing I would like to add in these times of uncertainty is to be gentle and loving with yourself and others. Love will always win. Breathe through it and know you’ll be ok.

    Interview with James Worthy

    Q. What was the inspiration behind “Blue Sunset” and its title?

    A. As you know the song talks about feeling good about who you’re with and giving off positive energy. You might have a messed-up day, and at that moment everything goes out the window, but you can continue to have positive vibes. As for the title, blue is my favorite color. Sunset is like the essence of feeling good.

    Q. What projects are you working on?

    A. My biggest focus right now is an album. It is called Blue Leisure. I also dropped a new song with Whodini. I’m doing television and movies, and I also have my own company.

    Q. Do you think being a music producer that you don’t get the credit you deserve working with so many people?

    A. I do now, but at one time I think I had a chip on my shoulder. There was a time when I was doing so much for other people, and I wasn’t getting much love back. Now, the industry is embracing me a lot more. Fanbases are bigger. It shifted and now I am a full artist.

    Q. Out of all your projects, what is the best one you worked on in terms of production?

    A. Hmmmm……that’s hard. It’s hard to say because I take pride in all my work. One is the Fetty, and Johnnie Record I did with Frank Ocean. I am also proud of the work I did with Whitney Houston. God rest her soul.
