  • Sweet Adventure: My First Visit to Candy World Drinks & Treats in Snellville, GA!

I finally made it to Candy World Drinks & Treats in Snellville, GA! I had been saying I was going to check it out for the longest time, and I finally did—and let me tell you, it was so worth it!

From the moment I walked in, I could tell this spot was a local favorite. The place was packed with people showing love, and the energy was just as sweet as the treats! The customer service was top-tier—the staff took the time to explain everything to first-timers like me, which made the experience even better.

Now, let’s talk about the treats! I went straight for a candy slushy because, of course, I love cotton candy flavors. It was icy, sweet, and just the perfect refresher. I also grabbed some candy grapes, and wow—they were bursting with flavor! It was definitely a sugar rush, but in the best way possible.

If you’ve got a sweet tooth, this is the spot to hit up. And with spring in full swing, there’s no better time to grab something cold and delicious. If you’re in Snellville, do yourself a favor and stop by Candy World Drinks & Treats—you won’t regret it!

  • First Time at El Jinete Mexican in Snellville, GA

This past weekend, my family and I decided to try out El Jinete Mexican in Snellville, GA, for the first time—and let me tell you, it did not disappoint! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the customer service was on point.

We all ordered different dishes, and not a single complaint was made (which is rare for us)! The food was flavorful, fresh, and super satisfying. By the end of our meal, everyone was full and happy—exactly what you want when dining out.

  • Discovering the Golden Apple Buffet in Snellville

I recently had the chance to check out a new spot in Snellville called The Golden Apple Buffet, and let me tell you, it was an experience! It’s been a while since I’ve indulged in an all-you-can-eat buffet, so I was excited to dive in. Although I missed the lunch buffet, the dinner spread did not disappoint. They had an impressive variety—sushi, crab, seafood, pizza, and so much more.

The interior was surprisingly upscale and inviting, making it the perfect setting to treat the kids before they headed back to school after Christmas break. We decided to make it a mini food adventure and tried a little bit of everything. For the first time ever, the kids ventured into the world of sushi and even sampled squid and octopus! Now, while those weren’t exactly their favorites (their expressions said it all!), I was proud of them for being open to trying something new.

If you’re in the area and looking for a place to enjoy a wide variety of food in a cozy, family-friendly atmosphere, I highly recommend stopping by The Golden Apple Buffet. Who knows—you might just discover your new favorite dish!

  • Soul Food Bliss at She Did That Soul Food Kitchen in Snellville, GA

When a friend raved about She Did That Soul Food Kitchen in Snellville, GA, I knew I had to give it a try. I was craving turkey wings—something I hadn’t enjoyed in what felt like forever. Spoiler alert: they did not disappoint.

The turkey wings were fall-off-the-bone tender, served atop a bed of perfectly seasoned rice that soaked up all the flavorful juices. For my sides, I went classic with creamy mac and cheese and sweet, candied yams. Every bite felt like a warm hug from the South, and by the time I finished, I was so full I had to save the rest for dinner.

This spot is officially on my list for whenever I’m in the mood for comforting, home-cooked soul food. If you’re in the area, trust me—check them out. Your taste buds will thank you!

  • Crumbl Cookies

    Place: Crumbl

    Where: Snellville Ga

    By: Cece Hymes

My Daughter and I had a chance to try out Crumbl Cookie. We been seeing so much hype about Crumbl cookie on IG and TikTok, so we wanted to see what the hype was all about. My daughter got the Classic Pink Sugar, and I got the Wedding cookie.

The cookies were okay to me, they were very sweet and big. I think I may have got the wrong flavor because I couldn’t even finish it because it was so sweet. We always want to try new things around the Atlanta area. The cookies were big and in a nice box and the Customer Service was great. You kind of go in there and pick what you want.

I can now knock this off my list of things I want to try.  Let me know if you have tried Crumble cookies and what your favorite flavor cookie was. Make sure to follow me at @cece.atl @Cece.atlbucketlist.

  • Milk & Honey

    Restaurant: Milk & Honey

    Where: Snellville GA

    By: Cece Hymes

Got a chance to try out this restaurant. They opened one up out here in Snellville and it was pretty good, the food was great. Milk & Honey brings you that southern feel. They bring out great dishes like their Award-Winning Shrimp and Grits.  I am a brunch eater, so I had some french toast, scrambled eggs and cheese and bacon. It was delicious. I always wanted to know why they call it Milk & Honey. The next time I visit I will have to ask.

They serve a little of everything. Chicken, waffles, crabcakes and more. They have a couple of places around the Atlanta area. Make sure to check them out.  I got to try the Shrimp and Grits next. If you have been to Milk & Honey, what was your favorite dish? How was the experience?

We had great customer service and I would recommend anyone to try it out.  Atlanta always has some of the greatest food places.
