    Day 7: Zoo Atlanta

    On the seventh day, I ventured into the wild wonders of Zoo Atlanta. This place is always a treat, and it’s best enjoyed on a day that’s not too hot. One of my favorite experiences was feeding the giraffes—such gentle giants and so much fun to interact with!

    The zoo is home to a diverse array of animals, and I love visiting once a year to see what new creatures have arrived. Each trip is a delightful mix of discovery and nostalgia, perfect for animal lovers and families alike.

    Since I have been living in Atlanta, I have been going to the zoo every year. If you don’t know, let me share this secret with you. You can get free tickets to the zoo once a year at the library. Don’t say I never hooked you up lol.

    So, me and the family went to the zoo. It was hot out there this year. The animals were just laying around because of the heat. I am thankful that the zoo has those fans and it’s a lot of trees that give a lot of shade. They had the part where you walk around like the aquarium part of it closed and the petting zoo closed. So, we missed out on those two parts of the zoo.

    Every year I go I try to bring someone who has never been or hasn’t been since they were young. My aunt went with me this time and she enjoyed it. She Has a disability, but they did have the electric wheelchairs you could rent so she enjoyed that.

    The zoo did have some new animals I didn’t see last time I went. I really enjoy going to the zoo in Atlanta so if you haven’t been make sure to check it out.
