Hey everyone! π
Happy first day of fall!

Is it just me, or did summer fly by?
I hope you enjoyed your summer, made some memories, took a few trips, tried something new, or simply found a little time to enjoy yourself. Even though we know Georgia is going to give us a few more βWho said it was fall?β hot days π, there is definitely a different feeling in the air.
And have you noticed that it is already starting to get dark a little earlier?
That is how I know the season is changing.
Fall has entered the chat. π
And honestly… I’m ready!
π Bring On The Fall

There is something about fall that just feels like a fresh start.
Maybe it’s the changing colors.
Maybe it’s the cooler mornings.
Maybe it’s the smell of fall candles.
Maybe it’s the return of boots, sweaters, hoodies and jackets.
Or maybe it’s simply knowing that we are entering the final stretch of the year.
September.
October.
November.
December.
You know what I call them?
The βBer Months.β π
And I absolutely love the Ber Months!
They bring birthdays, football, holidays, fall activities, festivals, cozy nights, family gatherings, shopping, travel and plenty of opportunities to create new memories.
Fall isn’t just a season on the calendar.
For me, it feels like a season of transition.
A chance to look at what I’ve accomplished, what I still want to do and what adventures are waiting around the corner.
And speaking of celebrations…
π Birthday Season Was A Vibe!
Last weekend, I celebrated my birthday with a dinner at The Grove Taqueria in Snellville, Georgia, and it was such a nice evening.

The inside was really nice, there was live entertainment, and most importantly, I had friends and family come out to celebrate with me.
There is something special about being surrounded by people who have been part of different chapters of your life.
Birthdays have a way of making you pause and appreciate that.
So, to everyone who celebrated with me, sent birthday wishes, called, texted, showed up or simply thought about me:
THANK YOU! β€οΈ
I truly appreciate you.
And of course…
I am still in my birthday dress season! π
I wore my Fashion Nova dress for the dinner, and I absolutely loved the colors.

Fashion is definitely going to be part of my fall adventures because I recently joined Fashion Nova as an ambassador!
So yes…
You’re probably going to be seeing a LOT more fashion around here. πβ¨
Trips + outfits + restaurants + events + city adventures?
Sounds like a pretty good combination to me!

π Fall Fashion Is Coming
One thing I love about fall is that fashion changes with the season.
Here come the:
π’ Boots
π§₯ Jackets
π§Ά Sweaters
π Hoodies
π Jeans
π Fall colors
And I’m ready to have some fun with it.
You already know I’m not trying to create a fashion magazine runway over here. π
I’m simply enjoying clothes, colors and putting together looks that fit wherever I’m going and whatever I’m doing.
And that’s exactly what I want to continue doing with Cece in the City.
Because sometimes the outfit becomes part of the memory.
You remember the dress you wore to the birthday dinner.
The outfit you wore on vacation.
The boots you wore to that fall event.
The sweater you had on when you explored a new city.
The clothes become part of the story.
And I’m all about the story.
π 52 Books Later…
Another milestone!
I COMPLETED MY 52-BOOK CHALLENGE! ππ
Yep.
All 52 books are officially DONE!
When I started this challenge, I wanted to challenge myself to read more, discover new authors and make reading part of my everyday life.
And now look at us!
52 books completed.
But I’m not stopping there.
Now I’m taking my love of books on the road.
For my book club, I’m starting a new adventure:
π Books By State
As I continue my 50-state journey, I’m also exploring books connected to each state.
That means I’m not just visiting places.
I’m discovering the stories, authors, history and culture connected to those places too.
Because a state is more than a dot on a map.
There are people.
There are stories.
There are communities.
There are traditions.
There are books.
And I’m excited to see where this next chapter takes me.
If you’re looking for something new to read, I’ve also started sharing some of my book recommendations through my Amazon storefront.
So if you’re a reader like me, definitely check it out.
βοΈ What’s Next?
Well…
Another state is waiting for me! π
I’m continuing my 50 States journey, and I’m looking forward to knocking another one off the list.
Every state brings something different.
A new view.
A new restaurant.
A new bookstore.
A new experience.
A new story.
And hopefully a few unexpected adventures along the way.
That’s one of the things I love about traveling.
You can have an idea of what the trip is going to be…
and then the destination gives you something completely different.
So stay tuned because another state is coming!
π―οΈ And Yes… Fall Candles Are Coming Too

You know I couldn’t let fall arrive without talking about candles. π
If you’ve been following along, you already know about my Libra candle, and now it’s time to bring out the fall candles too!
There’s just something about lighting a candle, getting comfortable and settling into the new season.
So if you haven’t grabbed your candle yet, make sure you check out the link and take a look.
And while you’re there…
Don’t forget about my poetry book!

If you haven’t picked up a copy yet, this is a perfect time to add it to your fall reading list.

A candle.
A good book.
A cozy blanket.
A little music.
Sounds like a fall evening to me. ππ―οΈπ

π A New Season. A New Chapter.
As I step into fall, I’m reminded that every season doesn’t have to be about starting completely over.
Sometimes it’s about continuing.
Continuing the dream.
Continuing the journey.
Continuing to learn.
Continuing to create.
Continuing to travel.
Continuing to tell stories.
Continuing to become the person you’re working toward becoming.
I’ve got books to read.
States to visit.
Stories to tell.
Events to attend.
Outfits to wear.
Projects to finish.
And plenty more memories to make.
So, if you’re asking me…
Am I ready for fall?
Absolutely.
Bring on the boots.
Bring on the sweaters.
Bring on the changing leaves.
Bring on the candles.
Bring on the books.
Bring on the adventures.
And most importantly…
Bring on this next chapter. πβ¨
Happy first day of fall, everyone!
Here’s to a season filled with new experiences, good people, great stories and a little more happiness.
Until next time…
Keep exploring. Keep creating. Keep telling your story.
