    For July, I’m spotlighting the best dining spots in Atlanta. On Day 12, I had the pleasure of visiting The Atrium at Ponce City Market with my women’s group. The food was exceptional, and the interior ambiance was just as impressive.

    It was a fun coincidence that my outfit perfectly matched the restaurant’s color scheme, making for some great photos! All the ladies enjoyed their meals, and we had a fantastic time.

    I’ll definitely be returning. If you haven’t tried it yet, you must go. Plus, who doesn’t love Ponce City Market?

    For the month of July, I want to highlight some amazing celebrities I’ve met and share the positive experiences I’ve had with them. We’re often bombarded with negative news and drama, so let’s flip the script and focus on the good stuff!

    Day 11: Lamman Rucker

    Today, I want to shine a spotlight on the incredible Lamman Rucker. Not only is he a talented actor, but he’s also an activist and entrepreneur who truly makes a difference in the world. I had the pleasure of meeting him at a bowling event supporting the Yusaf Babar Foundation and the 21 Reasons to Give event.

    Lamman is a sports enthusiast who volunteered to coach at a high school, helping students build life skills and more. He works with numerous nonprofit organizations to support urban youth and communities, motivating people all over the world. His dedication and passion are truly a blessing, and he deserves all the recognition.

    So today, I’m giving Lamman his roses and encouraging him to continue being a blessing to the world. He inspires others, and that’s a beautiful thing.     If you’re a breakfast enthusiast like me, you’ll love it here. Breakfast sets the tone for the day, and First Watch excels at it, along with offering fantastic options for lunch and brunch. The customer service is top-notch—I’ve never had a single complaint.

    Whether you’re in the mood for a hearty breakfast, a leisurely brunch, or a quick lunch, First Watch is the perfect spot. Make sure to check them out!

    For the month of July, I want to highlight some amazing celebrities I’ve met and share the positive experiences I’ve had with them. We’re often bombarded with negative news and drama, so let’s flip the script and focus on the good stuff!

    Day 10: Nappy Roots

    Let’s start with a group that’s always deserving of recognition: Nappy Roots. These guys are incredibly humble, fun, and down-to-earth. Not only are they a fantastic music group, but they’ve also ventured into the brewing world, creating their own beer and hosting various events at Atlantucky, their brewery.

    The atmosphere at Atlantucky is incredible, and I’m always proud of what they’ve accomplished. They provide a space for people to showcase their talents, attract a diverse crowd, and spread smiles and positivity through their music and passion.

    Nappy Roots are a true inspiration, and I definitely want to give them their roses today. Anytime I can get out to Atlantucky and soak in the great vibes, I’m there. Be sure to check out their new music and don’t forget to go listen to—my all-time favorite is “Good Day.” That song never fails to brighten my day.

    July Restaurant Highlights: Day 10 at Hopdoddy Burger Bar

    This month, I’m exploring some of the best eateries in Atlanta, and today’s feature is Hopdoddy Burger Bar. It was my first visit, and I have to say, their burgers are a must-try. The patties were juicy and flavorful, paired with a mountain of crispy fries that definitely hit the spot.

    A heads-up: everything is à la carte, so you’ll need to order sides separately. The interior is inviting and spotless, with great customer service to match.

    If you haven’t been to Hopdoddy yet, I highly recommend stopping by. It’s the perfect place to grab a burger, sit at the bar, and catch the game.

  • A Fun Adventure at the Center for Puppetry Arts

    Recently, I had the chance to visit the Center for Puppetry Arts with my family, and it was a nostalgic trip down memory lane. Watching Big Bird and Fraggle Rock as a kid, I felt those same childhood joys resurfacing.

    The museum was a delightful experience, filled with fascinating history. We even did a scavenger hunt to keep things lively, and it was a blast! I’m glad we could tick off another amazing spot in Atlanta.

    I’ve been to almost all the museums here, but there’s always another gem to discover. If you haven’t been to the Center for Puppetry Arts yet, make sure you check it out—it’s pretty cool! We missed out on the musical show this time, but maybe next time. Exploring Atlanta never gets old!

    Darlene’s voice isn’t just beautiful; it’s powerful. She has done so much in the community and inspired people all over the world, including me. Her impact is profound, and today, I want to give her roses and let her know just how proud I am of her.

    I’ve also ventured into their lunch and dinner options, and their spaghetti is definitely a standout. The customer service is always excellent, and the menu offers a wide variety of choices to satisfy any craving.

    I had the incredible honor of meeting Fredia Gibbs, known as “The Most Dangerous Woman in the World.” This world kickboxing champion has inspired countless people, including myself. Many women look up to her, and she always emphasized the importance of self-defense.

    Fredia has written a book about her life, and her YouTube channel is a must-watch—it gives a deep insight into her journey. Her bravery and strength are truly admirable, making her a fantastic role model for so many.

    Today, I want to give Fredia her roses because she absolutely deserves them. She has shown women and kids the power of confidence, strength, and self-defense. Fredia, I’m so proud of you and grateful for you gracing one of the covers of my magazine. Keep inspiring the world!

    Today, I got the chance to try out Alcove Coffeehouse, a hidden gem that sits right on a lake. It’s the perfect spot to enjoy a scenic view, get some work done on your computer, and savor a great cup of coffee.

    Although I’m not a coffee drinker, I indulged in their hot chocolate, and it was delightful. The atmosphere is low-key, making it an ideal place to relax. Plus, their pastries and sandwiches are delicious!
