    Interview with Tori B. Watson

    By: Where It Begins

    Q. Tell us more about who Tori Walton is?

    A. I am Tori B. Walton born and raised in Atlanta, GA to southern parents of whom divorced by the time I was twelve. I am the oldest of 3, I have a brother one year younger, and a sister who’s four years younger respectively. Through the years I’ve maintained a relationship with both respectively. As early as I could remember I will always be fascinated with the imaginary/exploratory aspects of life. I can remember the eighties, those great humble beginnings of playing outdoors, drinking from the water hose you name it we did it. I was always very active and athletic to include teaching myself through reading books on how to do “handsprings.” I am an introvert by nature so this ultimately led to passion as a reader and artist at a very young age.

    Q. Tell us more about your journey of being in fitness.

    A. My journey extends beyond the asphalt of physical fitness and over into the realm of “Personal Development”. I created a brand that I felt would benefit people far more than just physically. Being an instructor in the US Army I still have the teacher/coach approach with everything that I do to include fostering a learning environment for others to unlock their potential that lies within.

    Q. What has been the hardest experience in your life?

    A. The hardest experience in my life was the battle from within myself… the anxiety, post-traumatic stress and triggers which lead to depression and alcohol abuse.

    Interview with Fuller French

    By: Where It Begins

    Q. Tell everyone more about who Fuller French is?

    A. Fuller French is a lover of life, somebody who believes there is romance in everything good in the world… and sometimes just a guy from West Texas who plays the piano. I am passionate about everything I undertake; I enjoy creating, learning, living and loving. As a musician, the best thing for me is creating new music that contains plenty of love and romance that hopefully will be heard by many people throughout the world. I’m interested in creating things of substance and beauty. When I was younger, I wanted to create rough, rock and roll bits of music but now I have settled into my own style which is beautiful and dreamy.

    Q. What inspired you to become a singer/songwriter?

    A. I felt a volcano of creativity and ideas that I wanted to share things I wanted to say with the piano. I had an outlet to write lyrics and music and do just that. I took piano lessons from first grade to seventh grade but after that never formally studied again. When I went to boarding school, piano was an escape for me. In college I really went full throttle creating songs, and I began the tune that eventually became my first hit Brazilian Sunrise. The rest is history.

    Q. What do you consider as one of your best life experiences or accomplishments?

    A. I’m a work in progress and that event is yet to come. That said, raising my three children has been the best life experiences anyone could ever imagine: there is nothing that compares to raising them and watching them grow up. There is a love there that is beyond anything else in the world.

  • The Bookish Life of Nina Hill by Abbi Waxman

Book: The Bookish Life of Nina Hill

    Author: Abbi Waxman

    By: Cece Hymes

Finally got a chance to read this book. It’s been on my list for awhile now. This book was about Nina. She was the only child to her mom who was always on the go and traveled the world so she was raised by her nanny. She never met her father; her mom told her she didn’t know who he was. She worked at a bookstore and loved doing trivia games and book club meets for the youth. She would always go by agenda.

One day A man came into the bookstore to let Nina know that her dad had passed and left her something in his will for her. She is now in her 30’s to find out about her dad and that she has brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. Nina also likes this guy Tom, and he likes her too but they are both too shy to tell each other. They do trivia against each other on trivia game nights.

Nina is not used to a lot of things going on all at one time she will get anxiety. Having a guy in her life, work problems, a family she just now meeting seem to be a lot for her. Could you imagine having all these thrown at you at one time? Do you think it’s time for change for Nina? Do you go by an agenda every week? I know I do an agenda to try to stay on task but it’s fine for things to pop up. It helps me to not forget meetings and things I need to get done. I think Nina is a nice person and has a big heart. I definitely could hang with her because I love to read books. It also made me think of opening a bookstore and how it would be.

Check out the book and let me know what you think about Nina and Tom? Nina’s new family? Things always happen at the right time when you unexpecting it and it comes right on time. It seemed like everything came at the right time for Nina just all at once was too much for her. I liked the book. Hope it’s a part two. I would love to see what she does next.
