Book: How To Be Fine (What we learned from living by the rules of 50 Self-Help Books)

Author: Jolenta Greenberg and Kristen Meinzer

    By: Cece Hymes

This book was about two ladies that share their thoughts on what they got out of the 50 self-help books that they read. I read a lot of books, and some are self-help books. I am going to take some time out to read some of these self-help books that they have listed. Everyone gets something different out of a book they have read.

I think self-help books help in different ways. It really makes you open your eyes and when I read these books, I feel more uplifting and positive. I enjoy reading self-help books. I like that these 2 ladies are honest about what they got out of the books and honest about what worked for them. They both have different opinions on the books they have read. That’s a good thing because everyone does not think a lot about what works for one person and does not work for the other. I also liked that they can be funny and seem like they have great conversations about these books.

We all need those kinds of friends we can enjoy and talk to. I love that they both love to read. I am a bookworm and love to read but my friends are not into books like I am, they more into T.V. and other things. I did read some of the 50 books they name but I look forward to reading more of them and sharing more thoughts.

    Q. Tell us who Emmrose is?

    A. I’m a 16-year-old high school student in New York City. I’m just another kid at school during the day. I’m a vocal major at LaGuardia High School so you would hear me singing in Italian or some other language if you saw me there.

    Q. Who or What inspired you to be an artist?

    A. Nothing, nobody! Writing music came naturally to me. I loved pop music just like everyone else, but I really didn’t have anyone to say to me oh I want to be like them or sound like they do.

    Q. Who is your favorite artist?

    A. At the moment, I’m really loving Clairo. She’s so inspiring!

  • Interview with Sean Fisher

    Interview with Sean Fisher

    By: Where It Begins

    Q. Tell us more about who Sean is?

    A. As it pertains to my personality. I would say, “I’m an optimistic, open minded, multi-faceted and overzealously positive individual, Radiating Kindness is second nature to me. As an artist I display versatility and I’m an individual that you can’t put into one singular box. I had humble beginnings that shaped me into the person I am today.

    Q. Looking at your work it is so unique. How do you come up with your designs?

    A. Some of my makeup designs are manifested from experiences I’ve had from the part and translated into a makeup look. Also, my work is created by referring to other artists’ work and replicating it onto my body. This allows me to tailor it to be more on brand for myself or give it an entirely different meaning.

    Q. I see you were selected by Ultra Cosmetics Congratulations, How do you feel about that?

    A. I am absolutely elated about this opportunity! Today this is one of my biggest accomplishments and I’m honored to have been selected to represent Ohio for the Ulta Beauty Collective.

    Q. Tell us about your journey in doing cosmetics?

    A. My interest in makeup started at the age of 14. I was solely doing it to present myself in a more feminine way that aligned with how I felt on the inside. But I began to see some of my favorite beauty artists on both YouTube and Instagram makeup and how they used it to fully transform themselves.

  • Candytopia in Atlanta, GA

    Place: Candytopia in Atlanta, Ga

    By: Cece Hymes

I had a chance to go to Candytopia in Atlanta GA. This was different. It’s like a place of candland, you go through the different rooms and take great pics. It had a big thing with fake marshmallows that kids can jump in and play. It has different pictures of celebrities made out of candy. It’s like a candy playland. Kids would love it.

They have the room that you can go in and have to find clues. Another room is like a twirl like you falling. It’s just a different experience. If you like Willie Wonka & the Chocolate Factory then you would like Candytopia. It is something like that but a smaller version. I loved that movie growing up so you know I had to go and try this place out.

Candytopia goes to different cities so check your city and see if it’s one by you to try out. Take the family and go and take plenty of pictures. Enjoy the moment.

If you’ve ever been to Candtopia tell us what you thought about it.

  • My Money My Way by Kumiko Love

Book: My Money My Way “Taking Back Control of your Financial Life”

    Author: Kumiko Love

    By: Cece Hymes

This book was about budgeting and getting your finances in order. I think everyone should have a budget and learn more about finances. We get to spend a lot of money on unnecessary things. A lot of us go into debt and get credit cards and then can’t pay that back and it messes up our credit and more. I think that finances should be taught in school.

This book teaches you about retirement and your spending habits. It shows you how to pay off the debt and worksheets to do so you can see what you owe and how to pay little so that you can pay it off. I think that everyone needs to learn about savings, credit cards, credit, retirement, Investing and more. . This book will let you know that sometimes we make mistakes, and we spend but also how to get back on track.

If you are looking to improve your finances and budget this is the book for you. If you read this book let me know what you thought of it.
