If there’s one thing about me, I’m always going to show up for a good vibe—and Record Store Day at DBS Sounds was exactly that and more. From the moment I pulled up, the energy was already in the air. It felt like a true community moment, the kind where you see familiar faces, meet new people, and just enjoy being present.

I came to kick it with my people, and of course, the day did not disappoint. One of my favorite highlights was getting to see my girl Brittany perform. Her voice? Absolutely everything. You could feel the passion in every note, and it was one of those performances that just pulls you in and makes you stop and really listen.
The entertainment overall was on point. The DJs kept the crowd going, and when the DJS stepped in, the vibe went to another level. The music had everyone moving, smiling, and just enjoying the moment. It’s something about good music and good people that creates the perfect atmosphere.

And let’s talk about the food—because yes, it deserves its moment too. Everything I tried was so good. You know it’s a great event when the food, the music, and the energy all come together perfectly.
But beyond the fun, there was also a powerful moment of recognition. Huge congratulations to Tobago, who was presented with the Secretary of State Award by State Senator Kenya Wicks. It’s always inspiring to see people in the community being celebrated for the great work they’re doing. Moments like that remind you that events like this are about more than just a good time—they’re about connection, impact, and uplifting one another.

All in all, it was an amazing day filled with great vibes, great people, and unforgettable moments. Definitely one for the books!
