Okay… so I may have accidentally walked into a new hobby. 😂🌱
This weekend, while working on one of my current campaigns, I was on a mission to find plant seeds and bundles. So naturally, I started exploring places where I might find what I was looking for.
That’s how I ended up at My Secret Garden in Snellville, Georgia.
And let me tell you…
If you are a plant person, a garden lover, or somebody who gets excited about making their outdoor space beautiful—YOU NEED TO CHECK THIS PLACE OUT!
My Secret Garden
🌱 A Garden Lover’s Little Wonderland
My Secret Garden is an independent garden center and gift-oriented plant shop in Snellville. They offer everything from indoor and outdoor plants to gardening supplies, pottery, décor, seasonal items, and other unique finds. The business has been around since 2014 and relocated to Snellville from the Peachtree Corners area.
But honestly, when I walked in, I wasn’t thinking about the history.
I was thinking…
“Wow, this place is BIG!”
There was so much to look at.
Plants.
Garden décor.
Pots.
Accessories.
Cute little things that make you start imagining what your own backyard or patio could look like.
And then I started seeing things that made me say…
“Oh, I could put that over there.”
“That would be cute outside.”
“Wait… do I need another plant?” 😂
🪴 I Went Looking for Seeds…
Now let me be clear.
I came in with a mission.
I was looking for the seed bundles I needed for my campaign.
Unfortunately, they didn’t have the particular bundles I was looking for this time.
So did I buy something anyway?
NOPE!
I actually walked out empty-handed.
But that doesn’t mean I didn’t enjoy myself.
Sometimes exploring isn’t about buying something.
Sometimes it’s about discovering something new.
And I definitely discovered something new.
🤔 Do I Have a New Hobby Coming?
Okay… here’s where things get interesting.
I already have my money tree, and now I’m thinking maybe I need another plant.
Or maybe a cute birdhouse.
Or maybe something for the balcony.
Or maybe…
I need to learn more about plants first! 😂
I have a couple of friends who absolutely LOVE plants, and they are always telling me about different plants, how to take care of them, what they need, where they should go, and all that good stuff.
Meanwhile, I’m over here like:
“Okay, teach me!” 😂
Because once you start learning about plants, it really is fascinating.
🌿 More Than Just Plants
One of the things I really liked about My Secret Garden is that it doesn’t feel like you’re simply walking into a traditional garden center.
There’s a boutique feel to it.
They have plants, garden supplies, décor, gifts, and home items. Their shop also offers things like custom containers and gardening consultation services.
And the customer service?
Great!
Everyone was very nice, which makes exploring somewhere new even better.
Especially when you’re a beginner and you don’t necessarily know what you’re looking for yet.

Another thing I noticed?
There are areas where you can sit, relax, and take some cute pictures.
And I’m already thinking ahead.
I’m wondering what this place will look like when they decorate for different holidays and seasons.
Because you know me…
I’m always looking for a good photo opportunity! 😂📸
I can already imagine coming back during the holidays and seeing how they transform the space.
So now I’m thinking…
Hmmmmm… maybe this could become another Cece in the City stop!
🌸 I Didn’t Buy Anything… YET!
So here’s the funny part.
I went to My Secret Garden looking for seeds.
I didn’t find the exact bundles I was searching for.
And I didn’t buy anything.
But I WILL be back!
This time, I want to know exactly what I’m looking for.
I want to learn more about plants.
I want to figure out what would work for me.
And who knows?
Maybe the next time you see me at My Secret Garden, I’ll be walking out with another plant, a birdhouse, or something else I absolutely didn’t plan on buying. 😂
🌱 Maybe It’s Time for a New Hobby
I always say that exploring isn’t just about restaurants, events, or traveling to another city.
Sometimes exploring means discovering something right in your own backyard.
And this little adventure may have opened the door to something completely different for me.
Maybe I’ll become a plant girl.
Maybe I’ll start decorating my balcony.
Maybe I’ll learn how to grow things.
Maybe I’ll get a few more plants.
Or maybe I’ll just keep walking around admiring everybody else’s beautiful gardens. 😂
Only time will tell!
But one thing I know for sure…
My Secret Garden is definitely worth checking out.
