From Bingo Laughs to Smooth Jazz: A Weekend to Remember

Happy Sunday, everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful week and are enjoying this beautiful day. My weekend has been packed with fun, laughter, music, and unforgettable memories, so I had to stop by and share all the excitement with my Cece in the City family!

A Weekend Full of Fun, Laughter, and Music

This weekend was all about good vibes and even better company. I spent time with my amazing women’s group as we headed out for a fun-filled outing at Bingo Loco. Let me tell you, if you’ve never experienced Bingo Loco before, it is definitely not your ordinary bingo night! It was high-energy, exciting, and full of surprises. The one and only Headkrack was the host, and he kept the crowd laughing and entertained the entire time.

The Funniest Moment of the Night

One of the funniest moments of the evening happened when one of the ladies spotted a giant water bug. Oh my goodness, when I say she jumped out of her seat so fast, I truly did not know what had happened at first! Then two other ladies saw it and immediately moved to another seat, saying, “Oh no!” We all started laughing because, you know, the rain always brings out the critters. It was one of those moments that had us talking and laughing long after it happened.

Even though I didn’t win bingo, I still had an amazing time. The event was completely sold out, and the atmosphere was electric. I’m so thankful to all the ladies who came out and made the night so much fun.

From Bingo to the Amphitheater

I had to leave Bingo Loco a little early because I had another event to attend: Guitars and Saxes at Stockbridge Amphitheater. Unfortunately, the rain delayed the show, and I found myself thinking, “Dang, I could have stayed the whole time at Bingo Loco!”

But instead of letting the delay ruin the night, I made a quick stop at Crown Pizza for a delicious slice. My homegirl owns the spot, so it was nice to show some love and enjoy a little comfort food while waiting for the skies to clear.

A Night of Incredible Entertainment

Once the weather cleared up, it was time to head back to the amphitheater, and wow, I’m so glad I did!

The live entertainment lineup was absolutely amazing, featuring Jubu, Gerald Albright, and Avery Sunshine. Their performances were incredible, and the energy in the crowd was pure joy. There is truly nothing like great music, good vibes, and good times shared with people who appreciate the beauty of live entertainment.

My friend DJ Ms Eclectic and I always love attending festivals and live music events together. We often say we have old souls and good hearts, and weekends like this remind us why we enjoy exploring and supporting local entertainment so much.

Gratitude and Good Vibes

A special thank you to Gerald Albright and his wife, Mrs. Albright for having us as guests at the show. We truly appreciated the hospitality and enjoyed every moment of the performance. Amazing voices, talented musicians, and a crowd full of positive energy made the evening one to remember.

And of course, thank you to DJ Ms Eclectic for always showing up and being such a wonderful friend. I appreciate you more than you know!

The Weekend Isn’t Over Yet

The best part? My weekend is not over yet! I still have plans for today, and you already know the motto: we out, we exploring, we living life!

Stay tuned to Cece in the City for more adventures, fun moments, and stories from the road. Life is meant to be enjoyed, and this weekend has been a perfect reminder of how important it is to laugh, connect with good people, and make memories along the way.

Wishing everyone a happy Sunday and a week ahead filled with joy, music, and moments that make you smile!
