This weekend was one for the books! I had the chance to head over to DBS Sounds to show love and support for Wale, and if you know me, you already know it was a must. Being from DC and seeing someone from the hometown continue to shine always hits different, so I definitely had to pull up and represent.
I’ve really been enjoying the new album, and one track that instantly stood out to me is “Watching Us” featuring Leon Thomas. The first time I heard it, I honestly thought it was Chris Brown on the feature, and then I was like, wait… okay Leon Thomas! Such a smooth vibe and definitely one of my favorites right now.
Wale was super cool, and it felt good to come out and support not only great music but also someone repping where I’m from. Moments like this always remind me why I love being out in the city experiencing culture, music, and connection.
Also, this weekend, I made my way over to Miller’s Ale House, and I have to say, the food was really good. The spot has plenty of TVs, making it a great place to catch the game, enjoy good eats, and just soak in the energy—especially for sports lovers. On top of that, the customer service was solid, which always makes the experience even better.
As always, I’m out in the city trying new things, making memories, and truly enjoying life one adventure at a time.
