This Book Made Me Think of Me: My 5-Star Review of This Book Made Me Think of You by Libby Page

Happy Mid-Week, friends!

You know what that means—it’s time for another Cece Book Review! 📚✨

This week I’m talking about a book that completely stole my heart: This Book Made Me Think of You by Libby Page.

Let me start by saying this—I don’t hand out 5-star reviews very often. If you’ve been following my reading journey, you know I can be pretty picky. A book has to truly move me, inspire me, and stay with me long after I’ve closed the final page.

This one did exactly that.

My Rating: 5 out of 5 stars.

A Love Story Beyond Loss

Without giving away too many spoilers, this story centers around a woman navigating life after losing her husband. Before he passed away, he created something incredibly thoughtful for her—a series of letters and book recommendations designed to help her continue living, healing, and discovering herself.

As someone who absolutely loves reading, I couldn’t help but think how meaningful that gift was.

Books have always been more than entertainment for me.

Books become an escape when life feels overwhelming.

They become motivation when I need encouragement.

They offer comfort during grief.

They inspire new dreams when I feel stuck.

No matter what season you’re in, there always seems to be a book waiting to meet you there.

Every Book Opens Another Door

One of my favorite parts of this novel was that it introduced readers to other books throughout the story.

Talk about adding to my already overflowing TBR (To Be Read) list!

I found myself writing down titles because they all sounded so interesting. I love when authors celebrate other books and remind us that every story can lead us to another adventure.

The Push We Sometimes Need

What touched me most wasn’t just the romance—it was the encouragement.

Even though her husband was gone, his letters continued encouraging her to live boldly, try new experiences, meet new people, and step outside of her comfort zone.

Sometimes all we need is someone to believe in us.

Sometimes that encouragement comes from family.

Sometimes it comes from a friend.

And sometimes…

It comes from the pages of a book.

Watching the main character slowly open herself up to new friendships reminded me that people enter our lives for different reasons. Some stay forever, while others are there for only a season. Each person teaches us something about ourselves.

A Book That Made Me Reflect

One of the reasons I loved this novel so much is because it made me think about my own life.

It reminded me not to settle.

It reminded me to keep chasing the dreams I’ve written down.

It reminded me that it’s okay to start over, explore new opportunities, and keep growing.

Lately I’ve been thinking more seriously about trying freelance work, and this book encouraged me to continue exploring that possibility.

It also reminded me about another dream I’ve been holding onto…

Taking a trip to Paris. 🇫🇷

Will it happen tomorrow? Probably not.

But every big dream starts with one small step.

I’m learning to take life one day at a time while continuing to build the future I want.

Final Thoughts

Some books entertain you.

Some books teach you.

And every once in a while, a book quietly changes the way you think about your own life.

This Book Made Me Think of You was one of those books for me.

If you’re looking for an emotional, heartfelt story about love, grief, healing, friendship, and finding the courage to embrace life’s next chapter, I highly recommend picking it up.

Cece’s Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)

This book reminded me that life doesn’t end after loss—it simply asks us to write a new chapter.
